The movie won't be out until mid December? Oh man... I'll be almost 17 by then. That's a long time!

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

haha, thanks Chloe, I guess I missed that post somehow. Well since that is the case I'm sure there the movie hasnt been affected that much by Idina's injury. Good to know. I was wondering about the sets too. For the play it was all one big set with props being moved in and out for certain scenes but now that it's being filmed there can be alot more detail with the sets, props etc. Will there still be table dancing for la Vie Boheme?

Yessss. (napoleon dynamite style...great movie! XD) Though I haven't seen the show live, I've seen a few clips off the internet and the crazy choreography is half of what makes the show so great. I read that script thats been online for a while now for the movie and although I dont know how accurate that is, I really liked how they said they were going to shoot and choreograph the Tango: Maureen. I really like the idea of the flashbacks and then going into a ballroom setting for a while but, again, I don't know if that script is even legit. It really sounds like they are making a very unique and cool approach to how they are going to shoot the film.

Hey guys! I have been reading the postings for a while now and finally decided to get involved myself... but I've never done this before, so bear with me if I screw up!
Anyway, just wanted to say hi to Anthony and everyone else and I am glad to be joining such a fun group of people.
I will probably have many questions, but I will wait until I figure out what I'm doing before I dive into the hardcore conversation.
I look forward to future discussions and am very excited about this whole project.

Did anyone see Rosario Dawson's interview on E! this morning after she announced the SAG nominations? She spoke enthusiastically about the month to date that she's spent rehearsing for Rent, and said that she's sometimes so thrilled by the OBC during rehearsals - especially Anthony Rapp - that she's tempted to scream, but then she has to remind herself that she's in the movie too. Sweet girl. And Melissa Gilbert seems to have high expectations for her interpretation of Mimi.
Damn, I missed that! Maybe they will post clips of the itnerview online later. I'm glad to see that the movie and the actors/crew in it are getting some coverage.

ok, guys, i hate to play moderator, but when this thread was originally started we had a lot of threadjacking problems. this would make it complicated for anthony to weed through unnecessary posts to find the questions/comments we asked/told him.
soo, if your conversations have nothing to do with anthony, could you please move them to another thread? thank you!
Right, sorry bout that. Back on topic then. Are you shooting the Tango: Maureen the way it says in the online script? I have no idea how accurate that is but the flashbacks and the switch to a ballroom type scene sounds really awsome. And theres been alot of talk about rehearsals having been started for it so I was just wondering how that was going.

The biggest and saddest news is that Idina's injury is serious enough to keep her housebound in NYC for at least another week or two, so poor Tracie won't have her around for a little while longer. We all wish her a speedy and full recovery. What a crazy ass situation.
Anyway, we've been finishing the work on La Vie Boheme (filled with more table dancing than you can shake a stick at) and going through the dialogue scenes to eliminate any last bits of rhyming and to make sure it all tracks through well. I was very happy with the work on the Mark/Roger fight that Adam, Chris, and I did yesterday.
I have to go get ready for rehearsal, but wanted to drop a line. I'm also thrilled to read that Rosario is expressing so much excitement about the film in public, cause she's definitely that excited and happy in rehearsals.
Hmm, I'm not sure...I can shake a stick at quite a bit of table dancing.
Thanks once again! That update made me very excited...the Mark/Roger fight is one of my favorite parts in the entire show. It's always felt like me and a friend of mine...but then again, most people say we are Mark and Roger, so...*shrug*
Have fun at work!

Anthony- I'm sure we're all curious as to how Ms. Dawson is doing. I think she'll do fine. But how are they planning to do out tonight? I can't really picture it on screen. Also, do you think the obc being in this movie will affect box office income? Phantom is doing somewhat poorly, and there aren't any names in it...I'm really excited for this movie though!
