Nice video with Amy Spanger, Amra Fay Wright and Wendy Williams. (via Playbill.com) from RC in Austin, Texas Wendy Williams
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

GlindatheGood22, I totally get what you're saying. No, the stunt casting wouldn't work for me, or apparently for you either, but my guests just love the show, and all I can do is pass along what they say, and keep recommending it.
Wow, that is awesome news about Paige Davis. I've seen one video of her with Brenda Braxton. I'm surprised there hasn't been an announcement...or maybe I missed it? Amy Spanger will return to the role from May 27-- August 11.

HumATune....if that's any indication of her actual singing...all I can say is: "Oh my, this is not going to be pretty." from RC in Austin, Texas

Alls I know is I saw Christie Brinkley in Chicago when it came to LA last Summer. Hands down the worst performance I've ever seen. No charisma, leaden feet, no singing voice to speak of, no SPEAKING voice to speak of. How they let this poor benighted creature step foot on any stage is beyond me. To call her performance bad would be an insult to bad performances.
I can't imagine Wendy O. Williams could be any worse.
love... hopefully Miss Williams will sing something on her show, so we can have a better idea of what to expect in "Chicago." Also, would you say that Melanie Griffith was better or worse than Christie Brinkley?

hilarious - stunt casting...thoughts that popped into my head (not trying to throw stones but laugh about the nonsense and comments made over time about Wendy)
- wow...is this the first time a man is performing the role? - are they changing the Lyrics to "When you're good to Papa"?
She will get a Broadway credit, more publicity, and get scale from the Weisslers- she ain't doin it for the money. But please Wendy, don't add a "How Ya Doin" to the dialogue for your fans.
