I missed an earlier question here. Christie Brinkley made Melanie Griffith seem like Gwen freekin' Verdon!
I can't say it enough. I'm sure Christie Brinkley is a nice person but she had NO business, and I mean NO business up on that stage. As angry as I was to have paid to see her, more than anything else I felt sorry for her. The producers are out of their MINDS letting her go up there.

She was supposed to start on Tuesday, June 25. She's now scheduled to start Friday, June 28.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Wendy has had an inflamed throat/nose and a cough for the past week and a half. She had a noticeable cold about two weeks ago and that combined with doing her show four days a week and with vocal preparations has resulted in a severe sinus infection. It would seem to most that a three day delay is not unreasonable.
I know shade throwing is second nature to you ladies, but there are so many more deserving of such. Also, many underestimate the influence of this woman. There will be people who have never seen a Broadway show going to Chicago - someone has to - and perhaps they will become fans of live theater. Anything that increases the public awareness of Broadway is fine with me - even, God help me - Smash or over bloated awards shows.

Madam better be prepared to be judged, since she is doing alot of that lately. Her ass is wide enough to put a projection on it so it might be fun to see if they do something like that..please what in the world could she bring to this role except an less-than-professional performance.

WHAT A HOT MESS! I mean hey I get it. She will get booties in the seats but I mean come on. There is some actor out there dying to play this role who has trained for years and has the chops. SMH
There is nothing in the world better than Live Theater.
