Cats - There just isn't much to it. Starlight Express - I don't know if this is considered well known or not... Mamma Mia - It got annoying really quickly. Lion King - The costumes and whatnot are good, but I've never cared for the music.
If I so much as hear the first strains of "Tomorrow", I am out the door.
Same here. Everyone I know knows not to sing anything from Annie when they are around me. I will just get up and leave. I hate that show.
And Grease is the other one. DESPISE it!
"This table, he is over one hundred years old. If I could, I would take an old gramophone needle and run it along the surface of the wood. To hear the music of the voices. All that was said." - Doug Wright, I Am My Own Wife
Mamma Mia! I was in pain seeing it, it felt never ending.
"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view - until you climb into his skin and walk around in it."
To Kill A Mockingbird
Phantom of the Opera Cats Lil' Abner (saw a really bad production at Bucks County Playhouse)
<--- the set of A Midsummer Night's Dream that I was assistant stage manager for during the 2007 season at the STNJ outdoor stage.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~
I can't say that really despise any show. There are shows that did not live up to my expectations:
Spamalot Phantom of the Opera Cats The Lion King Chitty Chitty Bang Bang The Secret Garden
There are also some shows that I did not expect that much from going in and my expectations were proven to be correct:
Brooklyn Bombay Dreams Bring Back Birdie A Doll's Life Angel The King of Hearts Platinum
Some of the above only became well known because of their failure.
"Smart! And into all those exotic mystiques -- The Kama Sutra and Chinese techniques. I hear she knows more than seventy-five. Call me tomorrow if you're still alive!"
If I had to pick one and only one.... Hands down it is OK-LA- FRICKIN-HOMA! (Hate this show with a passion!)
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."
Conan O'Brien
"I've always secretly longed for an actress to get to the top of the cherry picker and projectile vomit all over the guards below."- Wonderwaiter in the "Defy Gravity?" thread.

"People have their opinions and that doesn't mean that their opinions are wrong or right. I just take it with a grain of salt because opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one".
