As much as I loved "Xanadu" (saw it four times, all onstage), that cast album was so poorly produced and done that once or twice was enough. Such a disappointment.
Probably stretching the rules a bit, but I couldn't even finish the Royal Albert Hall "Chess" concert. Idina Menzel completely killed it for me. It sits in a drawer, second disc still unplayed to this day.
Titanic J&H B&C Catch Me If You Can Wonderland (see a theme of awful with FW scores) Newsies (sorry, but Ashman was the dynamic part of that duo and since then, nothing great)
SPELLING BEE - not William Finn's finest hour imho WEST SIDE STORY-NEW B'WAY CAST - nothing actually wrong with it but just not particularly essential or outstanding, apart from the Spanish lyrics TITANIC - yawn LOVE NEVER DIES - yawn again THE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE - this is actually a beautiful recording; it's just not a very stimulating score

I probably wouldn't listen to lots of the bad shows others have listed here more than once. But fortunately, knowing they were bad shows, I never bought the recordings in the first place, and haven't had to listen to them at all!
