Wicked movie Dream cast.

okay,It's just a matter of time before it happens,so who would you like to see in the film version my cast would be
Elphaba:Idina
Glinda:Kristen
Fiyero:mmm,mabye Taye Diggs
morrible:Angela Lansbury,shirley McClaine(sp),Gleen Close
Wizard:Victor Garber
Nessarose:Anne Hathaway
Boq:Elijah Wood(sp)

As long as Kristin plays Glinda, I don't care about the rest of the cast.

There are no plans to turn the MUSICAL into a film. There was talk of turning the BOOK into a film in 2003. Nothing since then.

i agree mostly with the first one
Elphaba: Idina (most def.)
Glinda: Kristen Chenoweth (a must again)
Fiyero: Norbert prolly...idk who else...joey macentire (sp) was good 2 i must say
Madame Morrible: Carole (or i can see Glen Close 2)
Wizard: I liked the idea of Victor Garber (sp?) or the orig. Joel Grey he was amazing
Boq: i've always thought Elijah Wood was exactly like him

this is providing the 2 or 3 that weren't in the acutal musical can sing
but truthfully, as much as i would love 2 see Wicked over and over again (only with Idina tho...yes im biast heh) i'm not so sure they should turn it into a movie...

Fiyero: Matthew Morrison
Nessarose: Michelle Federer (perfect Nessa)
Boq: Chris Fitzgerald

I dunno, sticking with mostly the actual casts here, except for Matt. They have excellent casting over at Wicked on Broadway - I think they offered the part to Matt, anyways. If he woulda took it once Norbert left, my dream cast would've been there.

I'm sure the MUSICAL will be turned into a MOVIE at some point. Universal Pictures is one of the show's major financial backers and producers. They hold the movie rights. When they'll do it is another matter.

MOVIE VERSION OF WICKED?

SS: “I do think that WICKED could work very well as a movie, and I hope a movie will be made of it in some years time. But I hope you will have a chance to see it on stage before that, either on Broadway or if the touring company comes to a theatre closer to where you are. Sincerely, Stephen Schwartz”

The book would make a marvelous mini-series, with a focus on all the socio-political commentary left out of the musical.

why don't we stick to the original gals...

NO CELEBRITY WANNABE SINGERS! NO ANNE HATHAWAY, NO MARY KATE OR ASHLEY OLSEN... k? Great

On a lighter note, I would love to see most of the originals becuase I know a lot of people didn't get the chance to see Wicked with all the original cast, so I think that it would be a great chance for people to see them.

AHH you people with Saycon..she really wasn't that great...

although I never saw Idina Sho Eden or Steph...but Saycon was a disappointment to me...

I saw Saycon's first day *she did the mat i believe and the evening I was at the evening..* I wasn't impressed...quite disappointed...

She said Dilliminn...his name is Dr. DILLAMOND...

and i just thought she wasn't that great...just my humble opinion
and all that I could do because of you was talk of love...

I love the idea of Anne Hathaway as Nessa! She would be perfect. (And she isn't a "celebrity wanna-be singer"- she did musical theater before she did movies.)

Other than that, I don't care as long as Idina and Kristin are in it!
