At this point though, if we don't get an announcement by the end of next week February 7th, I think its safe to assume that the show will indeed be closing on March 8th.

March 15th."
Ok, then we should know by Valentine's day at latest, if the production will not be extending again.

The odd thing is all the extension announcements say the 8th, but tickets go until the 15th.
Yes it was not easy when Groff was still in - they’re only 10 tickets and people are allowed up to two. It’s also badly managed - the box office told me one thing and the person running the lottery told me the exact opposite. She also had an attitude which after waiting in the sleet for a while for the lottery it was not appreciated.

I'm sorry you had a bad time at the lotto, but in my experience (8 times visiting) it's managed well, and the woman who runs it is very nice (enthusiastic, recognizes regulars, ect.). You should consider returning if you haven't seen the show yet.
Lotto tickets numbers can range anywhere from 8-14 (14 last night). Seems like there are more available since Groff's departure, and less people coming (around ~20 on a work night), so very good odds. They also do lotto loser pricing at certain shows, but I don't know how much that is.

Nah I’m good. There are other shows I’d rather spend my money on.

Encountered the same attitude when I did not receive a programme upon seating and approached her during intermission while she was talking with another theatre staff member about weekend plans to see Emojiland.
Asked if they had a programme, to which the staff member replied—annoyed, which I can only imagine was because I interrupted her conversation—that they did not give out extras. Told her that I did not receive one when entering and she asked if I had been seated late. I said I hadn’t. She replied it was impossible that I did not receive a Playbill and my best bet was to find one that had been discarded in the aisles of the theatre. She added that if I had trouble finding one this way I could find her after the performance.
Didn’t know how to respond in the moment to a theatre staff member calling me a liar and who said my only means of procuring a Playbill was by taking another audience member’s program so I returned to my seat flabbergasted.
Did not see her after the performance, but also was in a rush to stagedoor to have my window card signed. After everyone came out, went back in to look for her but she was nowhere to be found. That whole exchange left a pretty bitter taste in my mouth after an otherwise exceptional matinee performance.

Why would you ask the lottery person for a Playbill? Why not ask an usher or the house manager?

When I was exiting the seating area into the upstairs lobby for intermission, she was the first staff member I saw. The conversation she was having about Emojiland was with someone who looked like they could have possibly been the house manager. That person stood next to us for the entire conversation, listening and part of the entire exchange but they said nothing.
I assumed the person I spoke with was a senior usher at the time and only found out later through Instagram that she was the audience concierge for Little Shop and also ran the lottery. I didn’t see any ushers returning to my seat otherwise I would have tried to ask them as well.
Let me add to the chorus that say Glick is FANTASTIC and pitch perfect to the role. I listened to the album before tonight’s show and Groff’s voice left me feeling some kind of bad way, so Glick really came through and delivered for me. He always brings this slightly anxious hypomania to his roles that works for me every time.
I can see why some people might not like Blanchard, but while I didn’t think she was wonderful, I thought she was a competent Audrey who made different choices with varying levels of success. The red hair and outfit definitely gave my Jessica Rabbit sexpot vibes. Her performance reminded me a lot of Michelle Williams in CABARET, where you could tell from the outset that she was just completely weary and out of hope and so I did find her harder to believe in her hopeful song “Somewhere That’s Green”.
Christian Borle walked away with the show and also the plant puppetry was A+
My father isn’t a big theatre guy at all and he loved this in spades.

I’d love if they took someone’s suggestion from this board a while ago and cast Larry Owens. Not sure what other casting would get me to pony up for tix again.
