Sophisticated readers will take note almost ALL, or maybe ALL of my posts during the last several hours have been responses to questions or comments about me or my school. So, people can say "it's all about me," but I'm on the responding end here...and have been for awhile in this discussion.

I humbly suggest any reasonable, civil, self-respecting person would be utterly appalled and simultaneously amused at the nonsense vitriol emanating from the small groups of vile posters on this and any other message boards.

Listen, I have no beef with you. I just think that you need to realize that you are no better than everyone else. That's not a dis, it's just a observation.

And I don't know whether Alice is reading this or not but I want to say that even though this thread has gone completely off the rails, the core issue of her using the word and apologizing is no longer an issue.

I think most of us (and I certainly can't speak for everyone) are happy to accept her apology and don't think for a second that she is homophobic.
