And to think this thread began with "Gays unite against the crazy!"
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
Oh I know! I mean, that movie was just a string of tragedy. Mothers being shot, friends being torn apart, and no reconciliation. It was truly a dark movie.
Well, lowlife does come to mind. But it's also the level of engagement and constant comments about how we are all sharks and vipers. Takes one to know one. Listen, I have no beef with you. I just think that you need to realize that you are no better than everyone else. That's not a dis, it's just a observation.
Tazber, thanks for a post that seems respectful and civil.
1) You will not find me calling posters "all sharks and vipers" ever, in anything I wrote. When someone says something factually untrue about me, but that sounds reasonable, it seems like I should reply. I repeatedly emphasized I was talking about a SMALL group of posters, and that I thought the majority of the readers are probably or certainly appalled.
2) "Takes one to know one." -- I do not agree. I am not Adolf Hitler or Sarah Palin. But, I recognize that HItler's thoughts and actions were evil. And I recognize Sarah Palin as a dishonest person, who is physically attractive to many people, and has the cognitive skills of probably the lower 30-40% of human beings. So, it does not "take one to know one."
3) I don't know what YOU by mean a person "thinking they are better than everyone else." But, I certainly don't believe that, I have never stated it and I have never implied that...anywhere...ever...
So, I plead innocent to all your charges, because it seems I share your values on point 1 and 3, and I disagree on point 2. Thanks for your post.
Chillin' and teachin' acting and voice to muh Bway/Film peeps...
(Betty Buckley is teaching a workshop for me at my school, check it out.)
When my daughter was little we used to listen to a Disney CD. One of the songs was a man singing a song from The Fox and the Hound. I never knew who the dude was that sang the song until I finally saw the movie.
"That would require me to enter their web of toxicity and engage with them on their level. Not a chance."
Or...it would require you to actually answer some questions that you seem not willing to answer. You're such a phony, railing against the "toxicity"...yet...immersing yourself in it.
I have a newsflash for you. You're not any better than the people you refer to as toxic. As long as you continue to post in this thread, you continue to prove that you are the very thing that you supposedly despise.
Enjoy the cesspool dear, but maybe you shouldn't dive into the deep end until you've learned how to swim.
