who else listening to RENT today?

I decided to listen to it for the first time in years. I had forgotten how so many moments affect me. It really was a revelation when it opened. I saw it the first time when it first opened and saw the original cast. And then again a year later when I was called back for it.

I was called back for it so many times and I guess now that it's closed I will never get to be Roger on Broadway. who else listening to RENT today?

Watching the documentary on the 2nd disc of the movie right now.

As soon as I got back from the lotto I listened to the whole OBC recording straight through. And I'll probably listen to it again tonight, if I don't go sit outside the theatre.

I didn't listen to it yet. I listened to Wicked instead when I went on my walk...LOL.
Don't believe everything that you hear! Only the peeps involved know the truth!

I watched the clip of "Seasons of Love" on the Good Morning America site when they appeared there in August. It brought tears to my eyes.

I listened to it on the train on my way to the lotto and I listened to it on the train after I lost the lotto and I listened to it in the car on the way home from the train from lotto haha....can't wait to see the movie!!!

^^ Well that's nice to know. I really have no use to listen to Rent just because it's closing. Doesn't mean I don't like the show. I saw it 4 times. I'm sure I will listen to Renee's first night sometime tonight re: who else listening to RENT today?.

yeah I'm listening -- it was time to re-live it all over again. A show that made me feel okay to be me and live for today! I'm getting goosebumps just thinking of the "end" of this era... Viva La Vie Boheme!

I've been listening to the obcr since earlier today. Right now I'm on Halloween. I also just watched the movie.

I listened to it a lot on the subway going to work over the last 2 weeks. I think it made me somewhat more dissapointed in the live performance that I saw last night.

Listened to the obc on my ipod this morning and i had to stop in the middle of finale a because the tears wouldn't stop and i felt like if i listened all the way to the end of the finale it would be too final...

i watched the movie last week and cried harder than i've ever cried watching the movie, because i knew soon it would all be gone...
And when the night has finally gone, and when we see the new day dawn, we wonder how we wandered for so long, so blind. The wasted world we thought we knew, the light will make it look brand new, so let it shine..." --ntn

Last night I watched the movie and cried my eyes out.
Today at work, I listened to the cast recording and the movie soundtrack.
