"Little Bill's Pills," up next on NickJr
Someone finally typed out her statement, which is easier to read than the image that was circulating earlier:
"Statement of Camille Cosby:
I met my husband, Bill Cosby, in 1963, and we were married in 1964. The man I met, and fell in love with, and whom I continue to love, is the man you all knew through his work. He is a kind man, a generous man, a funny man, and a wonderful husband, father and friend. He is the man you thought you knew.
A different man has been portrayed in the media over the last two months. It is the portrait of a man I do not know. It is also a portrait painted by individuals and organizations whom many in the media have given a pass. There appears to be no vetting of my husband’s accusers before stories are published or aired. An accusation is published, and immediately goes viral.
We all followed the story of the article in “Rolling Stone” concerning allegations of rape at the University of Virginia. The story was heart-breaking, but ultimately appears to be proved to be untrue. Many in the media were quick to link that story to stories about my husband — until that story unwound.
None of us will ever want to be in the position of attacking a victim. But the question should be asked — who is the victim?"

What is the chance she in fact knows nothing about it? I doubt very much he wouldn't go home and share his every adventure with her.
I myself after this many people have come forward with really nothing to gain, pretty much all with the same stories tend to side with them.

There's this whole Don't Ask, Don't Tell aspect to some marriages. "I don't need to know where my husband is every minute as long as he comes home to me. A lady doesn't ask questions." There are a lot of people who only care about how things look, and they have no interest in knowing how things are.

Yes! That is *exactly* it!
A woman has come forward claiming an attack in 2008, within California's statute of limitations.

Giving interviews before charges are filed is never a good way to go, heh. It is why lawyers say not to talk to the press and rehearse their witnesses. Time will tell...

OH so yes. When my mother's cousin got married the one thing he told her while they were still engaged was "You can never ask me where I've been." She didn't and they were together for 56 years until his death.
A different generation and culture & the Cosby's would fall into that category. But did she wonder at times- absolutely . ( my cousin's wife did ) but more would have threatened her home and status. No win.
It's sad to hear someone that says: "The high number of women is so ridiculous that I think something is fishy about all of this".
*sigh*
Well of course, we all know this is a conspiracy dreamed up at last year's "I Was Raped By Cosby Con" bar crawl.
@SNAFU, LOL. But seriously that sort of comment DOES make me angry.
Why? It is pointing out the ridiculousness of people denying ALL OF THE ALLEGATIONS! It infuriates me to have people write it off as these women are in it for the money or for notoriety. I have a very dear friend who is a rape victim and 24 years after the fact has not told her family or friends (she confided in me and spent three months living with me here in NYC).
Seeing what people are saying about these women, who have finally drummed up the courage to come forward, no, f*cking easy task, in order to absolve Cosby of any possible wrong doing DOES make me quite angry!
eta, Reread and see your weren't referencing my comment but the comment you posted. We are on the same page.
But I already agree with you, I was only stating what I said already that these sort of comments are infuriating and I'm happy you and I are on the same page.

God only knows how ****ed up his kids' childhoods likely were. Sounds like he's got them all under his thumb. ($$$$$$)
I wonder what the final tally will be.
Yet another woman has come forward accusing Bill Cosby of sexual assault: Casting agent and actress Katherine McKee says that The Cosby Show comedian raped her in a Michigan hotel room in the early 1970s....

I read that too quickly and thought it meant SMASH's Karen Cartwright.
OOps. Sorry, forgot link to the whole story...
New Bill Cosby Accuser Says He Raped Her in the 1970s
Cosby at this point is toast. Glad to see the karmic wheel does in fact work.
Puddin' Pops!
The essay below is quite long, but very powerful, extraordinary, and necessary.
Cosby Himself: Narcissism, Fame and Sexual Violence
I read that earlier today. It's absolutely the best thing I've read about this. It is lengthy but absolutely worth the time.
