On that group CNN interview, the 5 women who were interviewed were asked what they wanted to see happen to Cosby now. There were a few stray answers - have his Emmys taken away, have him stripped of his honorary degree(s), but they all agreed on one thing - what they really wanted to have happen to him was happening now.
They said they wanted him to face a long, humiliating, public shaming and for his legacy to be forever tarnished. And they did that while expressing deep empathy for his family and his former colleagues. God, I wonder what on earth is going through his kids' heads. If they were paying attention, they probably knew he was never a faithful husband to their mother, but this must be close to impossible to process.
And it sounds as if his wife knew all along, so she deserves the same.
After all of this, I'm going to watch A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS on loop until Christmas day.
How come all this brouhaha didn't happen when the revelations first came to light a few years ago?
Why did it take this stand-up comedy video to go viral?
The hype stars aligned just right this time, I guess - I bet he thought he had gotten away with it all.
He sickens me.
It was all reported back then, to a far lesser degree, but when people settled or didn't proceed with charges, that was sort of the end of it. Plus, it was before comments on website and social media, so stories died much quicker. If there wasn't anything to advance it in the newspaper proper, that was just sort of the end of it.
At least I'll never have to sit through another of his excruciating Tonight Show appearances ever again.
Yeah, he never seemed like he wanted to answer a question in those, either.

We are all lemmings to the media.

Maybe I'm missing something -- is there any proof, any evidence at all, of any of this?
What evidence can possibly be presented of a rape from decades ago?
I just picture that's the same face he makes when he sees the ladies slipping out of consciousness.

I'm not expecting DNA evidence, but but something a little more tangible than one person's word against another's.
There was the retired television exec who came forward to say he knew about it and actually helped procur women for him. It is kind of difficult to have solid evidence in cases like these. It is two people behind closed doors, one alledgedly drugged.

I hadn't heard about the TV exec -- that adds a little more credence to it.
And one of the latest to come forward is former model Beverly Johnson.
"I'm not expecting DNA evidence, but but something a little more tangible than one person's word against another's."
How about 20 people's word (all telling remarkably similar stories) against another's?
I'm sorry Roscoe, I went back and reread the article that is listed a couple pages back. It was not an Exec but another NBC employee who is now retired. However it does lend some creedence to these women's stories.
Yeah, Roscoe, I'm sorry, but this isn't a he said/she said. It's a he said/26-and-counting-women-who-have-nothing-to-gain said.
The former employee also had receipts for some of the alleged payouts.

And now he's preemptively scolding "Black media" to remain "neutral"

Wasn't his final statement so "profound"?
Rape and pills. Or you could reverse it. Pills and rape.
