"Do I Love You?" from FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.
(A friend and I have just realized that we've been in love with ach other for several years.)
I have a bunch..."I've Never Been In Love Before" from Guys and Dolls, "If I Loved You" from Carousel, "If Ever I Would Leave You" from Camelot, "The Next Ten Minutes" from The Last 5 Years, and "My White Knight" from The Music Man are probably at the top of my list, but there are so many more that I absolutely adore.
I'll Cover You
My Funny Valentine
"I hate men"
Or maybe "Contact" from RENT lol

At the moment, because I just heard Cheyenne and Feinstein sing it as a comment on gay marriage, "We Kiss in a Shadow" from THE KING AND I.
"Love Can't Happen" from Grand Hotel.
"Yes, the brutalities of progress are called revolutions. When they are over, men recognize that the human race has been harshly treated but it has moved forward." - Les Miserables
Most have been listed already:
"Say It Somehow" and "Love to Me" from Piazza
"The Next 10 Minutes" is a great song from L5Y but "If I didn't Believe in You" effects me much more.
"What is it About Her" Lippa's The Wild Party
The typical choice "Some Enchanted Evening" - South Pacific
Odd choices:
"When Words Fail" - Shrek
"If ever I would leave you" from Camelot (especially the nathan gunn version, so much heat in that version)

and " I think I got you beat" from Shrek.
definitely "So In Love"
and also "You'll Never Get Away from Me"
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone.

I agree with " ALL THE THINGS YOU ARE" especially song with the verse.
The one that makes me feel the most intensely swoopy is "She Was There" from The Scarlet Pimpernel. I know, lame, right? But I love that song.
"Suddenly Seymour" from Little Shop of Horrors
"You Should Be Loved" from Side Show (again, lame, I know)
"Lily's Eyes" from The Secret Garden
"Love Changes Everything" from Aspects of Love (Even lamer...)
"Written In The Stars" from Aida (Lame, lame, lame)
And...though it was never on Broadway or even in the original movie, "If I Never Knew You" from Pocahontas.
And then the obvious choices--
"Some Enchanted Evening" from South Pacific
"Make Our Garden Grow" from Candide.
"Some Enchanted Evening"- South Pacific
"Say it Somehow"- Light in the Piazza
"All I Ask of You"- Phantom
"I've Never Been in Love Before"- Guys and Dolls
"People Will Say We're In Love"- Oklahoma!

"If I Loved You"- Carousel
"Too Much In Love to Care"- Sunset Boulevard
"I Have Dreamed"- King and I
"As Long as You're Mine"- Wicked
"Suddenly Seymour"- Little Shop
There are so many beautiful ones to choose from. All of these songs are ones I can listen to over and over again. You have all inspired me to make a CD of some of these great ones and listen to it all day long on Valentines Day!
SOOOOOOO many:
If I Loved You (Carousel)- Haunting, poetic, and deeply passionate.
Bill (Show Boat)- When words can't describe why you love someone, you simply say, "Because he's just my Bill."
Love Can't Happen (Grand Hotel)- When sung well, it never fails to produce chills.
Two People in Love (Baby)- One of the most fun love songs ever.
Breeze Off the River (The Full Monty)- Not a traditional love song (this is a son to his mother at her funeral), but oh so beautiful and can really make you cry.
Not a Day Goes By (Merrily We Roll Along)- Loving someone every day... and they'll never know.
Pleased with Myself (Starting Here Starting Now)- That moment you realize that you've fallen in love with someone, walk down the street to this song. It's the equivalent of walking on air.
... and the entire score to She Loves Me. The entire show is a love song TO love.
Echoing:
"I'll Cover You"
"The Next Ten Minutes"
Adding:
"I Chose Right" from BABY
I heard the last one for the first time recently and loved it. So beautiful.
In Whatever Time We Have
Breeze Off the River (The Full Monty)- Not a traditional love song (this is a son to his mother at her funeral), but oh so beautiful and can really make you cry.

Thank you, Mister Matt. I DID mean You Walk With Me.
There are so many beautiful love songs from Broadway. I think musical theater does such a great job of expressing emotion and we get so many great songs out of that. I'll have to say my favorites are "My Funny Valentine" because of the brilliance of the lyrics, and "Till There Was You" because the song is beautiful and I love the whole scene and it's just great.
"Perfect for You" from the Off-Broadway production of Next to Normal.
