Lauren Zakrin has said on social media that she will be in San Francisco for a year. So chances are pretty good that she will be in the SF "Cursed Child" cast.
When I read the cast list I was like 'Wait.... THAT Mariah Rose Faith?!' Wow what a delightful surprise. She's a fantastic singer. The Starkid fan in me is sad she'll not be in Black Friday now but this is WAY bigger for her future.

Robert Manion actually tweeted, "Mariah I can't believe you're betraying Team Starkid and Black Friday like this..." so I assure you that your feelings are shared by a lot of people. But I'm so incredibly happy for Mariah, and (as someone who, for the record, does NOT like Mean Girls) I might have to see this now. I wonder who they're going to cast as Mariah's character in BF now (probably Jeff Blim, considering he does literally everything).

Have Nick Lang do a one-night-only engagement again a la TGWDLM!

Yes!!! And actually film it this time! I love all the StarKid fans coming out of the woodwork on this board after this announcement.

If that were to be true, I’d bring back Ixchel as a swing and understudy for Janis and Tee as a standby for Cady and the Adult Women until they find a new standby.
I kind of like the material added toward the end of the video for Cady...However without the reprise of “Till Someone Gets Hurt” I think the end of the act loses it’s edge. Hoping this isn’t the case and that the reprise wasn’t cut. If it is in fact out...What a lackluster ending to the first act. :/ also hoping this change isn’t implemented into the licensed version of the show.

Can't verify for myself, but according to the comments I've seen, this iteration of "Fearless" is from the pre-Broadway DC production, so they brought an old track back rather than write a new one.
I don't know why they'd do this, not that I'm against it. I could only guess that they wanted to end Act 1 on a "happier" note?
I am trying to decide to see the tour next month in Orlando (2 hour drive each way) I never saw the movie so the book will be all new for me. I thought on Wikipedia that a couple of the performers from the original cast are now with the tour. Is this incorrect information? Is the show worth seeing? I am not doing my usual yearly visit to NY in 2020, so my Broadway shows this year are limited to my Broadway series and possibly this.
The actresses who play Karen and Cady were both in the broadway production as understudies. I also believe there is a swing who was in the broadway production prior to heading out on tour. Besides that it’s an entirely new/different cast.

Looks like all principles are returning except for Mariah Rose Faith (Regina George), replaced by Nadina Hassan. Also out is Gaelen Gilliland (Female Adults), replaced by April Josephine.
Mariah Rose Faith has been pretty honest and straightforward on social media that she doesn't feel up to the grind of a tour right now.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
