Wow she sounds amazing! I'm so excited to see the tour when it comes to LA I can't describe it.

I saw the tour on ahemvideoahemlalalala and Kendra was eh. Stephanie's voice is SO strong, yet she didn't go for the F in defying, and she played a MUCH angrier Elphaba from the beginning. Oh well--still great.
Thanks for posting that! It was awesome! Sigh...memories of seeing Steph in Toronto. She is amazing! And so very Purty.
I know that many of y'all said that the clip was not working for you. As some said, you do have to press "Play." Does anyone know how to save the video as a file (No, right-clicking to "Save Target As" does not work...at least, not for me.)?
Here are some screen caps for those of y'all who cannot view the video. Enjoy.

Thank you, Elphabuff! I did click Play, though...and then I closed it, opened it, and clicked Play again...let's try it one more time.
this is the first time i've heard the lyric "tell them how i am defying gravity" that it didn't sound more like "tell them how are ya defying gravity", they both sound amazing...which i'm suprised about based on the less than kind reviews of kendra some board members have had
wow that's very cool! i can't wait till the tour comes to ohio..thanks for sharing:)
Stephanie sounds amazing. I want a recording with HER on it. She's the best Elphaba I've heard so far. Amazing. The belting comes so effortlessly for her. She's AMAZING!
That is simply wonderful...Bring Steph to the BWAY!
The tour is better than the Bway cast in my opinion...
I heart Steph!
thanks!

It should have been Stephanie's role all along, as it was intended to be.
I'm kind of surprised that Wicked allowed them to show how the flying works. Usually shows don't reveal how the "magic" works on stage.
Nonetheless, that was a great video. Thanks!

...and all this time I thought it was a rope. J/k
Sounds and looks great!

No, that's just Disney shows, because they're control freaks.
As overhyped and talked about as it is, I still like watching her fly.
Well, I don't think Phantom ever came out and said how they did certain things. I know things have leaked out and stuff, but yeah, I don't recall any other show saying how certain special effects are done.

It may be an excuse to promote the show. They did say to go see the show.
it worked for me. i love those behind the scenes specials where they show you how a scene is brought to life. i ve seen wicked twice already and i can't wait for it to come to my city (philly).

Can someone walk me through this, or something? I open it, click Play, and nothing happens. It just has that "loading" picture forever.
Wax Lion says that the touring platform is a little different than the Broadway platform that he's seen. On Broadway, the fake skirt is in one piece, and once Elphaba has shut the safety bar with her back, she swivels the material around like that of a shower curtain.

Such a great video.I would love to be able to do that, but I know that they will never cast a black guy as Elphaba!! I absolutely love Steph. If you can, check out the recording of her from Scott Alan's Piece the Musical. It is called Never Never Land, and it is absolutely wonderful.
