My good friend is seeing it either tomorrow or Saturday. I am seriously considering inviting him to lunch tomorrow and slipping something in his drink. Just a thought...
Those in town who concerned about the price might want to check out the Lincoln Center discount ticket thing in their new Atrium. I don't know what the availability situation is for Company or if tickets to it will end up there, but it's certainly worth a try if you're local. I know people who have scored great seats to concerts at Avery Fisher for great prices by going there.
I hear seats way up are still available but my thing is that I am on a strict budget since I just relocated here. But I keep thinking that since it is Sondheim, I am justified in spending the money.
But according to their website there are only 4 seats left for the three nights. All 4 are for tomorrow when I can't go. And they are expensive orchestra seats.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

I'll be there! Row HH in the orchestra! This is one of my favorite musicals and American stage pieces. And this cast makes me more and more excited to be there at 7:30 tonight! Although, I don't know how formal to dress for show. (I saw Earnest last night, wearing a shirt and tie).
Can anyone seeing the show tonight please post a running time? It would be much appreciated. (I know COMPANY usually runs around 2:40, but I'm trying to coordinate bus schedules and wondering if the concert schedule might shorten that time.)

I read an article yesterday- I can't remember where- that said that at the time that this particular article was published, there were 14 tickets left for Thursday, and that the remaining three shows were completely sold out. I wondered while reading how quickly those 14 were snatched up.

I'm thinking about legally changing my name to Lizzie Curry...
I'm seeing the show twice--tomorrow night, way up front (paid a fortune, worth every penny) and I'll be up in the third tier with a friend of mine Saturday.
I've been bouncing off the walls with excitement since the NY Times article pic was posted here yesterday showing NPH and Plimpton rehearsing together.
