Here's a thought, Aces... why don't YOU discuss? Did you like it? Hate it? Have no cohesive ideas? I always hate these "discuss" missives when the original poster doesn't even offer up his/her opinions.
I've been worrying since the announcement that this would end up like other movie adaptations but I'm glad to see that by the looks of thing I needn't have worried! The only thing that concerns me is the fact that Tommy and Nick don't look much older than Frankie and Bob.
It looks great -- I was surprised the talking-to-the camera thing was happening, but maybe I shouldn't have been. The colors are amazing. They remind me of my parents' photo slides from that era.

I'm so excited for this movie. I've seen the trailer on youtube about 10 times now. It looks amazing. I hope this movie will be in IMAX like when I saw Les Miserable in theatres.
Once I heard that Clint Eastwood was signed on as director, I knew we would be in very capable hands and I never had a doubt it would turn out good. And now that the first trailer is out, I've never felt so happy to be right - it looks fantastic!

All I can say to this is ------ what a BITCH.
But if this is your lame attempt to become the biggest bitch in broadwaybitchville, you already have quite a number of bitches in front of you, so you better up your bitch game, and fast.
Looks like crap -- by the numbers crap, and it sounds like hell, fingernails on a chalkboard. Of course, what can one expect from Clint Eastwood.

Wow I loved it!!! This is my favorite show and I was a little worried about the film possible ruining my love for Jersey Boys but that trailer looked great!!! Cannot wait to see this!!!
I've never really wanted to see the musical, but the movie looks pretty good. It looks like they captured the era pretty well. I'll definitely be seeing this over the summer.
The breaking the fourth wall thing does look a little cheesy though. I know that's how it's done on stage, but it doesn't always translate to film well as a storytelling technique.
