Yes. They were scheduled to do Rebecca together a few years ago. But they also did a workshop of Doctor Zhivago (with Alexandra Silber) last July. (From Silber's blog: http://alexandrasilber.blogspot.com/2013/07/zhivago.html )
I wonder if she will continue with this or with Ever After. Or surprise us with something completely different.
So perhaps this is why Sierra left Phantom....Hmmmm...She and her fiancé doing Zhivago together on Broadway? Must be a dream come true for an actor couple.
Rebecca is not a disaster, Distinctive B. Or a disaster waiting to happen. It just hasn't happened.
Why don't you go? Why don't you leave Manderley? He doesn't need you... he's got his memories. He doesn't love you, he wants to be alone again with her. You've nothing to stay for. You've nothing to live for really, have you?
I do hope the critics don't go in to this one with their minds already made up as they seem to do for Wildhorn shows. Lucy Simon did give us The Secret Garden. I'm not writing this off just yet.
"The first block of tickets for DOCTOR ZHIVAGO go on sale Monday, November 10, 2014, and will be available for performances from Friday, March 27, 2015, through March 6, 2016."
Uh.... what happened to tickets going on sale today??? Pretty disorganized operation they have going on.
Heard that Zhivago is coming from the West End. Not sure who it is.
This musical has a ton of earworm songs -- bastards stick in your head worse than an Andrew Lloyd Weber ballad in D flat. Currently can't get the song NOW from the show out of my head.
I really dont get the 'Sierra is a great actress' viewpoint, she does the doe eyed silent movie style acting in everything ive seen her in, but thats about it. One of the weakest Christines and Fantines ive ever seen. And LND I found her really wooden. Ariel was good, but then the role called for doe eyed. She'd actually put me off seeing something now
