according to Big League Theatricals, A Chorus Line will be touring again starting in September 2017. Assuming this is another non-union bus & truck tour.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Saw "Something Rotten" at the Boston Opera House this weekend, and there's a banner in the lobby indicating that Broadway in Boston's 2017-2018 season will be announced March 27.

I believe the new ACL tour will be spending some time in Asia(Japan, China, Korea) also. Right now it's scheduled to run through the end of 2018.

The current CellBlock National Tour dates for 2017.  I'm bummed that there are no Texas stops.  Later in the tour, the cast heads to Seoul, South Korea for 9 weeks.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

From Kristen Beth William's website, it looks like the Gentleman's Guide tour is closing March 12. Sacramento, CA will be the final stop.

San Diego:

An American in Paris

The Little Mermaid

Cinderella

Motown

Hamilton

Dirty Dancing

Stomp

Love Never Dies

Les Miserables

School of Rock

The King and I

On Your Feet

The Phantom of the Opera

I was hoping we'd get Aladdin and Something Rotten this season but oh well. It looks like a big line up but Cinderella, Motown, Dirty Dancing and Phantom of the Opera are all return engagements having just been here one or two seasons prior.

Love Never Dies AND Phantom Isn't that overkill for one season?

Also, anyone know if Little Mermaid is still that TUTS production touring or someone new?

Not if Phantom is coming before Love Never Dies... Think of it as refreshing your memory with the original before watching the sequel.

Or at least this was the logic told to me by my parents while trying to convince me to see Phantom again (will be my 4th time) with the when they visit (LND is hitting Houston next season).

I keep wondering what Philly is going to get besides Something Rotten.. I hope we get Phantom,LND,and Les Mis..Im pretty much expecting LND not coming here since it's playing Baltimore and will probably premiere at the Kennedy Center....

I really think this is such a smart show to tour - I think it'll go over very well with regional audiences. (Selfishly, I loved the show so much in New York and really want my parents to get to see it in Tampa... so fingers crossed!)

I know the current Little Mermaid tour was The 5th Avenues production that played in Seattle over Christmas. They played for 5 or 6 weeks in Seattle, and then headed out on tour. Now they are out playing 1-2 week stints in the Midwest and Southeast.  So it could be this production but I'm not sure.

This production is playing Louisville next month, so I would assume it would still be the 5th Avenue's production next touring season as well. It's apparently done really well here before even opening. As of yesterday 7/8 performances are sold out a whole month in advance.

The Bright Star tour is officially happening, Theatre under the stars in Houston announced it as part of the 2017/2018 season. They also announced a pre Broadway engagement for the Secret Garden revival.

Full TUTS (Theatre Under the Stars) season:

The Secret Garden (Pre-Broadway) - 10/10 - 10/22/17
Sleeping Beauty and Her Winter Knight - 12/12 - 12/24/17
Memphis (local production) - 2/20 - 3/4/18
Bright Star (tour) - 3/13 - 3/25/18
Guys & Dolls (local production) - 6/6 - 6/24/18

Plus a "special engagement" to be announced 2/17. Personally I think they're going to share "Hamilton" with BAA. The reason I say this is that my invoice has a charge for the special engagement of $235 per ticket, whereas the other 5 shows average out to roughly $80 a ticket. So it's something huge...or horribly overpriced.

That's what I was thinking too... but why would they not announce it? My parents already have their Hamilton tickets through BAA, so its not a secret that it is coming.

My guess would be that BAA wanted to make sure their renewals are confirmed first. In the past they've announced co-produced shows together but that might have hurt attendance or caused problems for those who are dual subscribers. I can't imagine anyone being upset with more Hamilton tix but who knows.

Bright Star was announced to tour the night of the reunion concert...so what is with these announcements as if it wasn't announced previously?

A lot of shows will announce tours that never actually materialize in an effort to drum up some publicity. Seeing a tour actually included in a season subscriber line up shows that the possibility of that tour actually happening is greatly increased (it could still be cancelled for a various number of reasons, but it means that there are actual intentions and plans to move forward, not just a vague hope that it will).

For example, we kept a list of shows that "announced" last season and out of the 16 that said they would, only 12 actually went on tour.

Also, the Bright Star tour wasn't exactly "announced". It was more like he said something that he maybe should not have, and it got picked up because the concert was streaming. It was never confirmed by the production if I remember correctly.
