Earlier today I was trying to compile a list of performers who were both in the production and the revival.  Here is the list so far that I created. (It should be right, I doubled checked on Playbill Vault.)

Krysta Rodriguez: Spring Awakening

Beth Level: 42nd Street

Ann Reinking: Chicago

Priscilla Lopez: Pippin

Carol Channing: Hello Dolly!

I know my list is very incomplete so what other performs did both the original production and the revial?

It was fun to see John Rubinstein as Pippin in 1974 and then as Pippin’s father 40 year’s later.

Fair enough.  He was in both the Mendes revival and the revival of that revival.

"Fair enough.  [Cumming] was in both the Mendes [Cabaret] revival and the revival of that revival."

Yes. That's why I said "Cumming has been in different versions of the revival, but he wasn't in the original.."  :)

If we are including people who were in revivals of the same show?

Jose Llana: The King and I. First Lun Tha, then the King.

Stephen Spinella was Prior Walter in the original Broadway version of Angels in American and is now playing Roy Cohn in the revival at Berkeley Rep in California.  Quite a coup.

Not a formal "revival," per se...but I absolutely love that Chip Zien returned to Into the Woods as the Narrator/Mysterious Man a few years back. That's full circling in the truest sense!

When I saw him at Sondheim Unplugged, he sort of alluded to this by performing both parts of "No More."
