I love all of Avenue Q, but if I HAD to pick favorites, I GUESS they'd be "...Racist", "Internet if For Porn" and "Schadenfreude".
I'm not a huge Wicked fan, but I do love "Popular" and "What is this Feeling".
I LOVE "100 Easy Ways (to Lose a Man)" from Wonderful Town.
Rosencrantz: "Be happy - if you're not even HAPPY what's so good about surviving? We'll be all right. I suppose we just go on."
- from Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
yeah.... I agree on Everyone's a little bit rasicist from Aveneue Q.... or If you were gay....or the interenet is for porn... or my girlfriend(who lives in Canada).... difficult choice there.
Oy! Thank you, CurtainUp! I COMPLEEY fogot about"One Hundred Easy Ways", one of my all-time favorite comical songs! Any time I need cheering up, I always pop the CD with the Rosalind Russell cast ans laugh!
Praying Decca Broadway will put "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope" on CD!
'Everyone's A Little Bit Racist' from Avenue Q. I don't think I ever laughed harder in a theatre. Also 'The Internet Is For Porn', 'You Can Be As Loud As The Hell You Want (When You're Making Love', 'It Sucks To Be Me',.....pretty much all the comic songs from Avenue Q.
But I'll throw in a couple non-Avenue Q songs too: 'Master of the House' from Les Miz is always fun, 'Without Love' from Hairspray ("I've tasted chocolate and I'm not going back!"), Tevye's dream from Fiddler, and the dentist song (forgot the name - 'I'm A Dentist'?) from Little Shop.

HEDWIG: "The road is my home. In reflecting upon the people whom I have come upon in my travels, I cannot help but think of the people who have come upon me."
Well, I don't think anything has ever equaled "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" Think- how many other songs rhyme Heinous w Coriolanus? Hell, how many even USE the word heinous!

The opposite of creation isn't war, it's stagnation.

"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel
ponine24601 -- I agree with what you said about Kerry's beat-boxing in Bat Boy. No matter how many times I listen to it, I still laugh as hard as the first time.
