There seem to be a lotta Michael Arden fans on this site, so I thought I'd give a head's-up to a little item about him toward the end of our 'Leading Men' column. (And there's a photo of him from the press preview of 'The Secret Garden' concert.)

Thank you, Wayman_Wong.
We will put up a link to your article on a fan site we have created for Michael.
I just wanted to add that tickets for 'The Times They Are A-Changin' go on sale this Sunday if anyone is interested. Finally, something for us west coasters :)~

To M.E.T., congrats on your Michael Arden site. Looks good.
Here's one more interview with Michael that we did last Dec.
In it, he talks about 'Pippin,' 'Bare' and more.
At the end, there's a beautiful headshot by Ben Strothmann.

He's one of my good friend's cousins. Cool, huh? He sang at her cousin's wedding or something. Is "N&R" from Easter Rising? i like that song.

Um, that says the song was written by Michael... no idea what for though.
Michael wrote N&R for the queer songbook.
It's not from Easter Rising.
right. as someone just said, Michael wrote that song, but not for Easter Rising.
it is quite an amazing song, though.

Actually, I believe Michael wrote 'N&R' for 'Embrace!,' a benefit concert for the Matthew Shepard Foundation, at the request of Jamie McGonnigal (Feb. 2004). Sriram Ganesan ('Bombay Dreams') and Jonathan Sandler first sang it there. That October, it was reprised at 'The Queer Songbook' concert at the Lesbian, Gay center, and Michael and John Hill sang it.
Ah, you are right I think! I knew it was for some kind of benefit and not Easter Rising, thanks!
I for one, miss Michael Arden being in NY full time. I hope he comes back to broadway, or off broadway. NY is where he belongs. He's amazingly talented.
He's been locked up in my room. I'll return him as soon as I'm done with him, which will take awhile.
