This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Remember to try to keep them in order. (and don't judge me for having TABOO so high on my list)

Im thinking most of these will be pretty high on the list, All shows 17-21 I didn't like very much at all.
Do you know how long it took me to get together my list of my top 10 cast recordings? CAST RECORDINGS. No movie soundtracks allowed. And shows that are brilliant but don't have amazing cast recordings didn't make it. And some shows that aren't that great but have brilliant cast recordings are right there. And I included shows I haven't seen because I was judging solely on cast recordings. And it was only ten.
I can honestly say it would take me at least two years to work out my definitive list of my top fifty favourite musicals, and even that's only if I start RIGHT NOW. O_O
"Ragetime" - Is that some kind of RAGTIME spinoff about angry people?

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

pssst. It's Scarlet Pimpernel. Not Scarlett Pimpernell. It's not that big of a deal..but it is. And by Falettos, do you mena Falsettos?
I mean, Denzel Washington? Gun to my head..of course.
Dreamgirls is at the top of my list with Parade at number 2. When I can think up a list, I'll be back.

Some of mine (after #1, they are in no particular order):

Titanic 14. A New Brain 15. The Light in the Piazza 16. Nine 17. The Lion King 18. Mamma Mia 19. Joseph and... 20. The Last 5 Years
"I chose and my world was shaken. So what? The choice may have been mistaken. The choosing was not."-Sunday in the Park with George
The first show I saw on in NYC was MISS LIBERTY in 1949. The last was IN THE HEIGHTS. Neither would be in the top 50, if I had a top 50 list. However, I don't like to choose favorites among musicals any more than I do among my children
I don't even think I could name 50 musicals in general, let alone 50 musicals that I've seen. I'll name my top... however many I can think of that I really love.
1. Ragtime 2. Cabaret 3. RENT
That's it. There are many other shows that I like, even love, but those 3 are the top of the top that immediately come to mind. To name a 4th I'd have to think about it, which means it's not in the same league.
This is a toughy but I will give it the old college try, and I am only going to do 10:
1. The Last 5 Years 2. The Wedding Singer 3. High Fidelity 4. Rent 5. The Great American Trailor Park Musical 6. Bright Lights, Big City 7. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels 8. The Full Monty 9. Grey Gardens 10. Rosalind Russell's version of Gypsy
Runner Up: EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL
Sorry its very updated list, but its what I listen to the most on the go -
I made a list of all your faults, it was quite detailed and lengthy too and when I read it through I missed you. Your like a classic Eagles song, you just cant help but sing along even though it sometimes gets annoying too. I just know I want to be wherever I can wake and see you there next to me. **High Fidelity**
Love is what I do **The Wedding Singer**
