We'll Choreography for one. I mean-lets be serious.
Mary Poppins should have won for Best Choreography

Choreography most definitely! I mean I love the show, but there isn't any realy choreography outside of jumping, stopping, and hand motions...
Ditto. I mean, come on, the book and choreography are not good.
Umm, anyone that has seen GREY GARDENS knows that it deserved the Best Book prize, it just baffles me that it lost that award. Well, it certainly didn't deserve Best Score over GREY GARDENS either but at least I saw that one coming.
Completely agree that it should not have won for book or choreography.
I love SA but legally blonde should have won for best choreography and Grey Gardens should have won best book.
I'm with y'all. It should have won neither!
WORD.
I've lost all faith in the Tony voters tonight.
its the producers all over again or no?
I'm still miffed over orchestrations.
im with everyone on the choreography and book. Grey Gardens for book for sure
why is everyone shocked about book
even the the reviews have said gg's weekest point was it's book
Legally Blonde should've taken choreography, and Grey Gardens should have taken book.
That was some bull****.

love the show to death but choregraphy was a joke...and Bill jones' creepy factor is only surpassed by Stephen Sater's.
It's another case of the TONY voters getting jaded.
SA will probably sweep.
So sad. So undeserving.
Jerry Mitchell's choreography in LB is brilliant, he should have won.
The book thing for me is because, as others have pointed out, the "book" for SA was basically given to them with the play. It wasn't created from nothingness.

Yep. they shouldnt have won for best book.
I'm bored.
You guys are out of control.
I'm seriously peeved.
John Gallager was the only nom I was actually routing for from SA.
not like my opinion matters but im very upset with the tony voters so far tonight.
Grey Gardens should have won for book and most especially score. Does anyone know how I can contact the brilliant Korie and Frankel? I would like to write a letter of encouragement. I'm sure they already know they're great, but I'm sure they'd like to hear from a fan.

maybe it's not getting Musical, and that's why it's gettin' the other stuff.
