You can get front row centre if you get there early enough. The actual rush seats are hard to get.
Thank you.
there's a reason they're not hard to get
hint the show is terrible.

I am thinking of taking my sister to see this show but I was wondering that since they announced it is closing if it got any harder or if it is still easy to get. I was planning on getting there at like 830 on a wednesday for the matinee. Also I heard it is only one ticket per ID is this true? Thanks
8:30 is entirely too early.
and yes, 1 ticket per ID.

No, I went 15 min. before the show and got front row sides last week. Not hard at all. Which is too bad because I actually loved the show.
oh wow OK that is good to know so I don't have to rush into the city. I actually enjoyed the show as well, it was a fun show. I think my sister will really like it as well, she is 15. Im assuming they accept both high school and college IDS? Thanks again for the information!

They except both.

Does 1 ticket per ID mean that I could go alone with my ID and a friend's and get 2 tickets, or do both people have to be there?
Both people need to be there.
Aw...come on..."13" is adorable if you go into it with the proper mindset. These kids have phenomenal talent FOR THEIR AGE. Believe me, I saw version with an intermission before it was cut...now that it's cut I'm sure it's short and sassy. Go get them ticketz!
"They except both."
I don't think they except either of them, actually.

Actual rush seats are NOT hard to get. About a month ago, I met up with a friend who arrived in Penn Station at 1:45. On a whim, we decided to run over to '13' and get rush tickets. It was like 1:59 and we had no problem walking up to the box office and asking for student rush tickets. We got them and sat down right before the lights went down. Orch L Row D. My son is in Jr. high and they don't issue IDs. being a kid, is that enough 'ID' to get a student rush ticket? I figure I'd buy an SRO ticket for myself?

They ask for a ID no matter the age.

"13 RUSH = NOT HARD AT ALL"

It recently did get harder, they've been selling out.
Yeah. Definitely going to be a HUGE jump this and next week while all the kiddies have off. If you get there when the box office opens though, you should be fine.

they ask for an ID? OK, but does it have to be a student ID or would a passport work? That's all he has - he's 12 years old!
WishingWounds, do you ever give up?
13 is closing soon enough. Good riddance!

Any word on how the rush situation might be tomorrow? I was planning on getting into the city around 11 to try and get a ticket for 13's Saturday matinee. Does that sound reasonable?
