Hanson. See the thing is when they were younger they did manufactured scheisse, but now they're more musically mature. They're not just disney robots.

I always find it so amazing when people just assume that Hanson was only as good as mmmbop.

They happen to be one of my favorite bands. They wrote mmmbop when they were about 6, 9, and 11 years old, and have since made three OTHER major albums since Middle of Nowhere that show, far more than mmmbop itself did, how talented they are.


Please, just, put all prior conceptions of them aside, and watch one (or all) of these:

And for the record, the way I see it there is absolutely NO comparison- Hanson is, musically, a FAR FAR FAR superior band to Jonas Brothers. If people happen to like the STYLE or sound of their music more, that's one thing, but just.. the Hansons have been doing music for about 16 years now, and they're in an ENTIRELY different league from Jonas Brothers. And I have a feeling the Jonas Brothers will not ever be as good as Hanson. The Hansons are just naturally better- MUCH better voices, and much better musicality.


Sorry, this is a really long post, but it's just so frustrating as someone who has followed Hanson for the past 11 years without fail to see how many people judge them based off of ONE song- one song that they wrote when they were tiny kids. Actually, if I remember correctly Taylor was the only one that had the gay picture scandal with all his freckles and everything matching up perfectly and most people were convinced that the picture was real. None of the others had photographic evidence.

Not that that would really mean they AREN'T gay, but yeah. Besides, they really don't seem gay to me. They seem peeerfectly well into their wives, and women in general :P They were just YOUNG back in the day

I'm not a fan of either but I think Hanson wins hands-down. Also , I have to say that they're both MUCH better than anything the Backstreet Boys or N'Sync did (boy bands I had the misfortune of growing up with). Hell, why do people like New Kids on the Block so much? I hear a lot of older people spouting hate on the Jonas and yet proclaim love for New Kids...wtf?

wait but are we talking Hanson back THEN, or Hanson NOW (in terms of looks)? Because..



I have to say, maybe it's my bias but I think they're much better looking than the Jonas Brothers. haha. Back then? Ok, I guess with the long blond hair and stuff.. and the fact that Ike was going through a major funny looking stage haha (he's quite handsome now, actually)

But yeah. I think they're extremely good looking. Except.. Zac either needs to cut his hair or always wear it back like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IICqR2L9qeE , because the hair's gotten TOO long in the past year :P
