I bought my tickets for Madonna's Rebel Heart tour last week the minute the presale started. I've been listening to The Rebel Heart Super Deluxe version since last Tuesday. My favorite song is Ghosttown.
I agree Jordan, the grill has to go!

The 11 years between the stateside concerts of Blonde Ambition and Drowned World insured demand.
Her market has been saturated (and in another sense, soaked) with her recent every three years like clockwork schedule. But, you sell yourself to Live Nation and Guy Oseary and, well, you get the MONEY and then have to give the devil his due, no matter what damage it does to your (and I usually hate this term but it really does apply in this case) brand.

As I said then, as I say now, I believe there will be bodies in the seats. I'm not sure I believe the financials as they are being reported to the entertainment press.

I also missed out on the chance to see her MDNA Concert back in my home town due to starting law school and I was too afraid of flying back down and missing too many days (which now I think is ridiculous) so I really want to see this concert when it hits MGS or Barclays just to see her. However, her last tour was just two years ago and I do think there is an over saturation. And this is from someone who didn't see her live yet. At least Sticky and Sweet was like three years after Confessions and MDNA was four years after Sticky and Sweet. That gave her people some time to build up interest. Even though I don't share Namo's disdain for Madonna being crass and yelling on stage, I do think she probably turned a few people off (like when she got booed in New Orleans for telling people to vote Obama). Also, her shows seem sort of interchangeable now. I mean they are well-produced, choreographed, and she really does try to integrate art, themes, political/sociological, and extravaganza to all her shows, so it'll be top notch. But...they seem very franchise-like now, right?

Wrong, Lame-o! She did three: NYC, Philadelphia, Auburn Hills (Michigan).

I wonder why Madonna and her team knew she wouldn't sell anywhere else in the US on that tour? Why did she want to deny her brother the pleasure of showing off the last show of hers he ran before she married the homophobe?
