This production has been rumored to come to Broadway for a limited run since 2019. COVID derailed that but it's still appears to be on the back burner.

Have had it on and really like it. Love the orchestrations. They stay very true to the original but sound a little tighter. I didn't know they do the One reprise/finale in English. Really nice recording.

Good to know. I'd like to see more foreign and gender-swapped revivals come to Broadway in the future.

^ That was beautiful! Antonio's singing is excellent. And Laura Benanti is just phenomenal--one of my favorite Broadway voices.

My grip with this production is that they Mario Lopez-ed Banderas' Zach. However, the recording might be worth it. Always a dream to do this show with a 40-piece orchestra.

Found out this production is currently touring throughout Spain.
Just finished listening to this cast recording. It's really beautifully done. The added orchestrations, extended tracks make it worth listening to. Yep we still can't get a recording of "And".

Yeah, it was through some kind of service that doesn't exist anymore. So it has essentially vanished.

I seem to remember there was talk of The Public wanting to bring it over. And now having heard it, I really really hope they do.
It's a wonderful recording and the translation is either reinvigorating, or invigorating, depending on your thoughts of the recent remounts. Either way, it's wonderful.
