It seems as though quite a few of us will be attending the final performance of HELLO, DOLLY! and it's been suggested that we all get together for dinner beforehand. I'm all for it. In addition to that, let me suggest that we all wear Harmonia Gardens red that night.
(I always wear red to HELLO, DOLLY, anyhow.)

I was hoping to click on this and see a suggestion that the final performance be recorded for posterity (PLEASE), but dinner is nice too. :)

Can't we all dress like waiters and run around the restaurant?!

If ever there were an opportunity to do another BroadwayHD live streaming, this one would be it. Not the final performance (which would be horrendous due to the audience's final performance antics - screaming, whooping, etc.), but a performance during its final week where the audience antics would still be crazy, but more subdued.

Except people that already got tickets would have already been asked to click on a disclaimer agreeing to be photographed or filmed.

I don’t know about dinner. But get there early and let’s greet each other in the lower lounge. Dinner scares me. My encounter with Corine years ago taught me a lesson . But Dollypop I would love to shake your hand .

I was sitting in the front row during the filming of TIN MAN and I don't remember ever needing to agree to be filmed.

What is Tin Man? For She Loves Me and Legally Blonde you had to consent to being photographed or filmed.

Consent does not have to be written, it can just be attending. There are often signs saying this as you enter.

For Blonde if I remember correctly the tickets were comped but you agreed to be filmed. I still have it somewhere. For She Loves Me when you bought the ticket you had to click on a additional box agreeing to be filmed before finalizing the purchase. Legally a audience has to be informed they are being filmed .

I love the idea of meeting in the lobby .I have not been around here that long and am not a major contributer but I would love to meet such legendary lovers of this art.

Correct, but it does not have to be when purchasing tickets.

A stand-up sign similar to this one is generally used when last-minute filming is taking place. The Lincoln Center Archive filmings use these as those aren’t planned far in advance to warn ticket buyers:

Lincoln Center archives tapings are not broadcast or used for monetary value. I imagine it is a different set of legal issues.

I've attended several performances at the Metropolitan Opera that were streamed for their Live in HD in cinemas, and there was never any indication of what was happening except for the very obvious (but not terribly intrusive) cameras filming the performance. I guess perhaps they don't ever show the audience in those streams, I've never watched one.

Regarding the signage for taping/filming, I've been to some shows and opening night parties where filming for reality shows was taking place. There were signs posted at the entrance, but there was no disclaimer that I had to agree to when getting the tickets and certainly nothing that I had to sign.

You all should read the fine print in the tickets you buy at some point just for kicks. I believe you already agree to all that. Not sure.. but I believe the legal term is abailment. ( I might have the wrong word. Where is Brdwlyr when you need him?)

They do show the crowd during Met telecasts. In fact, prior to the performance, the camera scans the audience and people often wave to it or raise their Playbills.

I think it would be awesome if all of you could get a group picture and post it in this thread.

Oh, we can do that. I'm also hoping that someone will take a picture of me under the "Broadway's Greatest Musical" sign.
