Although I love both songs individually, I'm not loving the "Last of the American Girls/She's A Rebel" mashup.

At the end of "Homecoming" leading into "Rock and Roll Girlfriend," on the album, the lyric, I believe, IS "oh geez," not "oh ****." Am I misunderstanding what someone means here?
On the ALBUM he says "oh geez". The actual line in the show is "sh!t".
Does the Playbill list who sings each song? If so, could someone please post it?
Thanks.
Yeah, the concept album contained "Jeez!" instead of "Sh!t." The curse is grittier, but I always preferred "jeez," just because it's so awkward and fits the whole "awkward homecoming" moment.
Yeah, in the actual Green Day album, the line is "Geeeeez" (which I prefer)
I am LOVING these harmonies and some of the arrangements. I am not really liking some of the female vocals, though.
I already used up my free plays the other day, if somebody recorded it could they pm me please??

some of the tracks sound Incredibly like Billie Joe Armstrong singing lead vocals (specifically Boulevard of Broken Dreams)
Does anyone know if they intentionally misspelled Novocaine? It's bothering me way more than it should, but I'll let it slide if it was intentional and for a purpose.
Isn't Novacaine a rock band?

Isn't Novacaine a rock band?
I think it is, but the title of the song is "Give Me Novacaine." That doesn't seem to make sense if they're talking about the rock band. The anesthetic is spelled "novocaine."

they're not talking about the rock band. The song is about wanting to have an anesthetic to deaden pain.
Exactly, that's my point. My question is, did they intentionally misspell the anesthetic novocaine" as "novacaine" to make a point, or is it a mistake, or is it a mistake on the part of whoever printed the song list into the Playbill/CD liner/iTunes information?
Obviously, no one here can read minds, I was just wondering if there are any big Green Day fans who happen to know the answer.
It's spelled "novacaine" on the original album as well so I'm assuming it's on purpose, but I don't know why.
I have it. Clean, clear, tracked, titled with album-art
Want it? Ask nicely.
I don't hold the highest opinion concerning GREEN DAY (might have something to do with my crazy dorm mate and her Billie Joe Armstrong obsessed boyfriend who sat cuddling each other on the edge of their bed, reverently holding the AMERICAN IDIOT liner notes the day of release in September 2004 as they listened to the CD for the first time. Come on, it's not RADIOHEAD people!), but I have to say, from what I heard via the OBCR stream, this album is really lacking edge and grit. GREEN DAY ain't punk, but it's a lot more rock than these karaoke tracks.
And now I'm curious to see how this all plays out when I see the show Tuesday.
LOVE Whatsername!!!!
The thing I don't like about Green Day is that all of their songs practically sound the same. "21 Guns" is great but I'd rather see a musical made from The Decemberists' "Hazards of Love" album.
