In all seriousness, a short sketch of Titus Andromedon auditioning for Hamilton would be gold.
"
He did something like that during the Tony commercial breaks
It's here:

Also, the Joshua Henry rumor is floating around ATC, but who knows if Ryhog heard it here first:

Thanks guys. Guess that's what I get for not watching the Tonys live, haha

I do. I heard it here, and I heard it not here, before that post. I think it is a quality rumor.
Even though it will probably end up being Josh Henry, if it is Isaiah I called it first.

The OP is still MIA.
I think we were trolled.
I would wager OP is not gone but is simply obsessively refreshing this page and basking in the fact that they *gasp* have insider info. Likely feeling very grand at being better than us mortals.
Either that or he/she and LizaHeadband eloped together.

And if it's Josh I called it first! how exciting that would be for both of us.
My money is on the role going to a time-traveling Taye Diggs from around the time he played the Emcee in "Chicago."

The new Burr will be Daniel Breaker

I buy that, but what about the person in the other thread saying Sydney is taking over?

If true, good for Breaker. I have trouble envisioning his styling with this particular score but he was, in my humble opinion, an absolute revelation in PASSING STRANGE. Don't expect any differently in HAMILTON.
I got that information from one of the ushers, but as someone else proposed, it might just be temporary before Chicago

Daniel Breaker was pretty excellent in readings of Murder Ballad. I can definitely see him in the role.
Complete curveball on the Daniel Breaker news, but he is currently in the Book of Mormon, so fits OP's clues...would be an interesting take on the character
Breaker strikes me as inspired. Very talented and has a decidedly eccentric edge, though he's certainly no obvious match-up to Odom.
Breaker is an extremely interesting choice—but the person who suggested him literally just stated his name. bwaydreamer, do you have a source?
It's kind of crazy that they haven't announced replacements for Odom Jr. and Soo at this point, no? I mean at this point next week someone else will be in the role. Not that they have to worry about ticket sales...just seems very late in the game for a show with this much attention on it.

I was thinking the same...why are we sitting here guessing when we should probably know already.
I agree. They're waiting as long as Mormon does!

Not necessarily. If they are bringing in replacements who are new to the show (or to that specific track) and who are/were in other shows up until now, they'll need a few weeks to learn the music, choreography, staging, observe the show a few times, etc. In the meantime, understudies can fill those roles.
This also could be/is the answer to the Sydney discussion on the other thread. Chicago may have nothing to do with it; Sydney could be filling in until the new Burr is fully trained up.

People rarely cite their sources when posting here. Also, sometimes Mormon just puts people in and never announces it! Guess that's the road Hamilton aspires to.

Very true. But even then, that temporary replacement is the replacement.

They're probably trying to run with 'the show is the star' idea as much as possible so aren't making a big deal out of who the cast will be. Worked well for BOM so far.
