It's kind of crazy that they haven't announced replacements for Odom Jr. and Soo at this point, no? I mean at this point next week someone else will be in the role. Not that they have to worry about ticket sales...just seems very late in the game for a show with this much attention on it.

If they are bringing in replacements who are new to the show (or to that specific track) and who are/were in other shows up until now, they'll need a few weeks to learn the music, choreography, staging, observe the show a few times, etc. In the meantime, understudies can fill those roles.
