Just noticed tickets are already on sale at Telecharge:

I don't believe a theater had been announced yet. Additional casting of Cory Michael Smith and George Wendt is also mentioned.

i believe that may only be a place holder
Considering you can already purchase tickets and there is venue specific pricing, I doubt that.

i stand corrected, they are for AMEX users only. I guess they dont want my money.
so we still have the following theaters scheduled to be empty come the spring. Pump Boys & Dinettes just booked the Circle in the Square, Orphans just booked the Schoenfeld & The Trip To Bountiful just booked the Sondheim.
Barrymore
Golden
Longacre
Marquis
Neil Simon
Walter Kerr
Shows still possible for the spring:
Diner
Flashdance
Pippin
Big Fish
Miss Firecracker Contest
AmEx cardholders almost always get first dibs.
A play with no A list Hollywood actors at the Cort? I give it a month.
I assume they're counting on name recognition of the title. Breakfast at Tiffany's is such a recognizable property that it's less of a risk to go without stars. Not sure how different it will be from the beloved film. That to me seems like the riskiest part.
Cory Michael Smith is great and I look forward to seeing him.
Than you better hurry up and see it ASAP.
I think Emilia Clarke might attract a bit of an audience. I know I wouldn't be interested if she wasn't involved.
People may not know the name Emilia Clarke but they certainly know and love her as Khalesi Daenarys Targarian!
Similar to people not knowing the name Dan Stevens but still knowing and loving him as Matthew Crowley.

You are so right, Jordan...they may as well go ahead and draft the closing notice.
This will likely run about as long as BORN YESTERDAY (28 previews, 73 performances), but I do like the movie and I think the performances in BREAKFAST will be quite good. I am looking forward to seeing it.

They should sell rush tickets before AmEx.

She looks gorgeous in the promo shots, if you ask me.
Or you could just wait two weeks. The AMEX presales seats are usually not that great anyway.
ETA- BIG FISH is not coming in this season as the Chicago run ends in early May.

I love my Khalesi! i was mesmerized by her in Thrones. She alone makes it worthwhile for me to see the show.
Yes! The pics are gorgeous... but that logo/titling... truly beautiful. Anybody know who's handling marketing?
"Not sure how different it will be from the beloved film. "
They claim that it will be much, much closer to the novella than the critically hated film adaptation that was staged in London.
There is, of course, the possibility that it will be good.
The photos and branding are gorgeous, classy (not a word I use often when it comes to Broadway marketing these days), and Emilia looks - no surprise - adorable.
The fact that Richard Greenberg wrote it gives me hope (I'll excuse his revised book for Pal Joey...)
The fact that Colleen Atwood is doing the costumes alone is exciting.
Richard Greenberg is perfect for this material. I'm so glad he's writing it!
