March 2025 London.
There are a lot of things I like about what you’re saying. I don’t think it’s necessary, but it’s deliciously indulgent.

This overlaps with my first trip to London!
This photo must've come across countless desks for approval and not ONE person pointed out how horrible it is?

My first thought as well. And the font, etc. Ouch.
Terrible photo, but the casting is much more appropriate than the Broadway revival.
I’ve always thought LAST 5 YEARS would be better with Cathy putting Jamie in a half-Nelson.
I like the idea of Zegler as Kathy, but the mere concept of Ben Platt exhausts me - I can’t imagine hearing these songs with a strained upper register and anxious tremolo.
At least this also may lay to rest any rumor of EVITA for the spring.

It’s a real photo and it’s credited to photographer Sophia Wilson. Aside perhaps from AI-empowered retouching tools, it bears no indication of being AI generated.
Beyond stoked for this next chapter in Zegler’s career. The first chapter was pretty sloppy and it’s apparent she’s learned and grown to just keep things to herself (we all have sloppy opinions we know to keep to ourselves). The positive response to her in EVITA helped erase that SNOW WHITE fiasco and the industry has moved away from it, thankfully. She was on The Graham Norton Show this past week and not only was she adorable and fun but watching the rest of the guests (Sarah Paulson, Bryan Cranston, etc) rave about her in EVITA was validating.

I thought the opposite. It’s a very short run leaving room for a late spring transfer.

This is at the Palladium from 24-29th March. I assume they will have even a short period of rehearsals.
If Evita wanted to open by end of April they would need to be having rehearsal and preview period before that which you would think would be covering the time Rachel is doing Last Five Years n London. I'm with the person who says this puts to rest the rumours it is coming in this season.

He sang Moving too Fast last night at the LCT Board of Directors dinner. It was embarrassing given Jeremy Jordan was five feet away and has sung it much much better.

You mean the man who handed him a career on a plate? Tells you everything you need to know about him. He sang Finishing the Hat last night and joked about there needing to be a revival on a thrust stage. It’s so weird everyone pandering to Lear Debessonet. Bart Sher was doing it too, it’s sad. Does anyone know why he didn’t get the top job?

She escaped again, your honor.

I agree. I also think ALW wouldn't want 2 of his musicals competing for Best Revival in the same season.
