I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...
"Every day has the potential to be the greatest day of your life." - Lin-Manuel Miranda
"And when Idina Menzel is singing, I'm always slightly worried that her teeth are going to jump out of her mouth and chase me." - Schmerg_the_Impaler
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Seriously: Julie Harris. She has had 10 Tony nominations and been awarded the Tony 6 times.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Nice Laura Bell Bundy joke, lol. I do love legally blonde and I admire LBB, but still, nice one :) People should cut her some slack though, I mean, its extremely hard doing all she does, and she does have talent.
"I told you, NO Rodgers and Hammerstein!"- Bart Simpson
oh gosh. haha. well, the thing is there are lots of "broadway legends" (a la Julie Andrews, Bernadette Peters, etc.) who I've never seen live and don't know a whole lot about them, so they can't really make my list
out of the people I HAVE either seen live or know a lot about, though, I'd have to say: Raul Esparza :)
although there are lots of runner ups. Norbert Leo Butz, Laura Benanti (if not just for her insane acting chops), Michael Arden... and, yes, perhaps Idina too (honestly, a bit more so for her acting than her singing) :P
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

If you had liked the joke you wouldn't have lectured us on the difficulty of that role. Putting on a phony smile, doing some lame choreography and singing a banal score at the top of your lungs (even if your sound designer over amplified the whole show to begin with) is not the hardest thing in the world.
