WHAT?!?!?!? Need details NOW! She was the main reason why I bought tickets. What is she doing that could be more important than this?

Any chance she's coming to Broadway with frozen, instead of Caissie? Hmm...

She's so beautiful and so talented, but this is the second show she's been announced for and then replaced. I'm wondering if Hollywood isn't calling OR she thinks she'll have better prospects there.

I've been saying she needs to be Elphaba in the wicked film....
i still don't get why it's scheduling conflicts for the fall. Carousel doesn't open until February. So is scott doing a big workshop for this? If so, wouldn't that mean Joshua Henry can't do that either?

The phrasing of scheduling conflicts "this fall" is so strange. Carousel ostensibly won't start rehearsals until January.

I was hoping she would get her tony award from this. Now I'm full on sobbing. I love Betsy sooo much. Someone tell me it's going to be alright and she's still going to have a healthy career.

How could she have signed on for something this high profile knowing she'd have a scheduling conflict? And this fall? The show won't start for months!

I mean. She exited Frozen and now Carousel. Both extremely highly anticipated shows. How do you do that to your career?

She did recently take leave from Waitress for a night or two, and said on her Instagram that she has a big announcement that would be worth here being out for a few shows...maybe this has to do with it too.
And yes: weird she says this fall is the conflict, as we assume "Carousel" isn't rehearsing yet.
