I have just seen the TV commercial for the OCR in the commercial break for "This Morning". It features Liam singing Electricity in his blue shirt and he's looking really sweet. He does a big jump at the end - almost like the poster image of George.
If anyone manages to record it, can they post it online. I'd also like to see the Joey feature from Blue Peter, as I forgot all about it!
i still havent recieved the ocr yet hoping it will come in the post 2day! i personally dont think that the show will finish in 2006, its so popular i think its gunna go on for ages, longer than just next year!

A big 'thank you' to all who contributed to the card which was totally full when I presented it to George's Mother on his behalf in the Stage Door Pub. She was overwhelmed by all the expressions of support and affection for her son and expressed her thanks to you all. George had not ben well this week which explains why he sounded a little 'husky'.
We also gave George and James an HMV voucher from this board and billyelliotthemusical.me.uk for them to enjoy their music etc. James received his at the pub with his parents present and members from both boards.
As to the Cast recording. it is fair overall with Liam,Brad, and Haydn particularly in good voice. The angry dance is a disappointment and the noises of frustration could have been anyone and added little. I am not convinced they were George although it did have his ending.

QUOTE [I'd also like to see the Joey feature from Blue Peter, as I forgot all about it!]
Don't worry "Billy's Cush", the Blue Peter episode is this Friday (9th December) at 5pm on CBBC (BBC1)
(Also, it is about Leon, not Joey!)
I have to say that I'm a bit dissapointed with Electricity.
I haven't got the CD, but I bought 4 tracks from the OCR online. 3 out of 4 did not dissapoint me, but Electricity??? They made it into a mess.
However slowly I felt that Electricity getting better and better, but never better if compared to the Electricity played at theatre

Hi everyone, just returned from this evening performance with the new cast and can i just say WOW!!!
I don't know how they have done it but it's like watching a new and BETTER show There are so many changes i would be here all night writing a full review and as i have a train to catch in the early morning to sadly go home after what has been an amazing "Billy" weekend i will leave the reviews to the fellow board members i was with tonight. So over to you WestEndFan2, Electricity and Hokey plus any others who may have attended.
Unbelievable to say but i don't think we are going to miss the leaving cast!! Never thought i'd be thinking that after Saturday night and the changes to the show? Well LOVE them all Incidently the programme is the same but the insert included lists 4 Billy's including James and George so make into that what you may
Also i don't know it's already been mentioned but i've not had time to read through the posts but there is a book containing imagines from the show due to be released. It's printed on the back of the postcards included in the limited edition cd set.
Finally well done to Leon and Joey, by far the funniest partnership around, for tonight and a hugh WELCOME and WELL DONE to the new cast members. You were amazing!!
Over to you guys, get those reviews in! What did you make of the "new" show?
WHAT A FANTASTIC FEW DAYS
Steve
So...Is it Travis? Do we have last names??

The OCR came out on Saturday morning - but never mind.

I remember when there were five new pages of posts a day, and now there's barely any. What's happened? Have people moved to a different forum or is there just less excitement about the musical than before?
Also, great clips that you posted! That was great, I liked listening to the radio clip, and it was funny to hear how they like to listen to Wicked in the dressing room! Too bad there aren't any kid parts in that for any of the four Billy's!

Well like Steve mentioned earlier, yes I was at the show last night, thanks to Hokeys quiz!
Firstly, I would like to say that it was a lovely gesture that this prize was given away. Thank you, I have donated the ticket cost to charity.
Due to the fact that I missed my train to get to London, the heat was on for me to arrive in time for 7:30…, which thankfully I did with a few minutes to go before curtain up!
Now I haven’t got my programme in front of me so I apologise that I won’t be able to mention all the new actors names but here goes:
Leon was playing “Billy” and Joey was “Michael” and Emma played “Debbie”. So what can I say about these three!
Leon, I think is a brilliant all rounder. His singing is always on top form and the ballet parts are great. Lets hope he’s with the company for some time to come…
As for Joey, he is so funny and plays the part of Michael down to a tea. You two are hilarious in “Expressing Yourself”.
If you read this guys, don’t change a thing!
Emma was also good in her role, adding slightly different parts to her character due to some small changes in the show.
In terms of the new cast…
The guy who has taken over in Tim Healy’s footsteps, I thought was amazing. Had I been going to the show for the first time, you wouldn’t have thought that this was his first performance along with the others.
In a few weeks time, I do feel that he will match what Tim had on stage.
“Big Davey” and “Mr Braithwaite”, has now been rolled into the one character, with Alex doing a good job in both areas. There is however parts that Steve Elias added to this role that Alex has dropped but again, within time I’m sure he will make it his own.
This is similar to the new actor playing “George”. Very comical though it did seem to go slightly flat at the start of the second half just before “Merry Christmas Maggie Thatcher”.
As for Chris who is now playing “Tony”, he was good but there was something about Joe Caffrey that I liked? However saying that, his partnership with his dad, especially when they sung “He could be a star” together, was very powerful.
In terms of the show as a whole, there are quite a few changes in the script, more so in the first half with new lines, jokes etc. being added, and there are some really nice touches.
I won’t tell you too much about this as it will spoil the next time you all go.
All in all, I think that this show is going from strength to strength… well done to all the cast for making it such a memorable evening.

LM stop makin a complte fool of urself how on earth wud u no wen the shows ending?
the producers r certainly not goin to inform every freak who pretends to b in the show of there plans

First off - Happy Birthday Felix, I hope you have a good day.
Secondly - There was talk that Stephen Daldry mentioned how the show Wicked! was coming over from Broadway to take to London's West End stage.
Someone mentioned that it will be the Victoria Palace that this will be coming into which means Billy might be on the move, but I think you'll find that this show will be going too the Victoria Apollo theatre where Saturday Night Fever is currently playing
This means we have to put up with Billy for a little longer
Indeed Wicked is due in the Victoria Apollo next Autumn after a brief run of Moving Out.
