TodayTix and Brandon Uranowitz seem to be a day off as well, as they’re having him do his “opening night takeover” on their Instagram today...

Yes, the red carpet and the opening night party are tonight, but the official opening night is tomorrow, which is when the reviews will be published. So, technically, it's tomorrow, but, really, it's tonight. The Boys in the Band did the same thing last year.
I was there tonight and it was definitely opening night. So is the only difference reviews come out tomorrow? This is very confusing and I'm not sure I understand the reasoning behind it.

I haven't seen the show so have no comment on its quality, but I know that The Boys in the Band did this at the beginning of the season. I would imagine the decision is made before they have any idea how the production will be received as they'd need to hold the tickets back accordingly. As a way to completely remove tension about reviews from the celebration of opening a show, it makes decent sense to me. Again, not a comment on this production or however it's received.
Also, this is purely speculation, but, because Hadestown and Hillary and Clinton had the Wednesday and Thursday openings this week, perhaps the Monday night cast party made it more practical for Burn This to keep its normal 2-show Wednesday schedule. If the opening night party had been tonight, having a Wednesday matinee would have been unlikely.
"Getting to the unfortunate point: Russell, so good in The Americans, is just no match for either Driver or the stage. Her performance here is flat, her delivery single-note."
