Has anyone been to the stage door yet ? Any of the cast comes out and where is it located ?

I have never been an aficionado of "Cats"-- my top three ALW scores are "Jesus Christ Superstar," "Evita" and "Sunset Boulevard--but this production surprised and delighted me at all levels. It should definitely move to another venue space (Circle in the Square if that is economically viable) and settle in for an extended engagement.

They come out through the main lobby.

No, Renee Elise Goldsberry and Ariana DeBose were the guest judges last night. Cynthia Erivo was the guest judge on June 26.

Who were the judges at today's matinee (Saturday)? I didn't recognize them and just assumed they were plucked from the audience. Of course I was in the orchestra behind them so I didn't get a good look at their faces. Are they always celebrities? The show was FANTASTIC! Run, don't walk, as they say!
Two years of anticipation for this show pays off for me at tomorrow's matinee!
What's booked at the Circle in the Square? Could this target a Spring '25 opening?

The Rachel Zegler/Kit Connor Romeo & Juliet is the next big show there, but it's a limited engagement starting in September. The theatre should be open by spring.
There were rumblings of another show at the Circle post R+J before R+J was even announced.
That show was so c*nty and everyone made every character so much their own. Tempress's Memory is so damn good.

Love this review ! Going next Saturday can’t wait
I went again today - third time.
The show remains c*nty indeed and I’m still in shock and awe that I’m absolutely losing my mind over CATS of all things.
One thing I did notice is that, for the first time at a performance I went to, the house was not full. There were a few empty runway rows and the upper balcony was barely filled. I’m wondering if the sticker-shock prices will start to come down or be discounted soon. (Here’s hoping)
Maybe cause word is getting out that it’s not that good
Nobody take the bait.

Yeah we know, black people in a show that glorifies theft. We know you wouldn't like it, but fortunately people aren't dumb like you.
I was off on the side of the upper balcony and they allowed us to move to the center to be head on.
People who hate cats love this. And people who love it are lukewarm about this. Isn’t that always how it is with revivals ?

I mean it is a crazy holiday weekend and $300 for table seats are insane (for cats and off broadway) It will pick up again.

it was a holiday weekend, and a lot of locals went out of town I wouldn't read to much into it being light this weekend
It’s called having an opinion. I understand you love the show, that’s great. Do you love everything you see??

Introducing a false narrative as to why the show wasn't full isn't "having an opinion." Holiday week, way downtown location, and high ticket prices are actual possible reasons, not the non-existent tepid word of mouth you've concocted out of thin air simply because of your own personal reaction. "Word...getting out that it's not that good" isn't a real thing that is happening.

They also raised the prices for the weekend shows, perhaps after the initial rush and before extensions were announced, which couldn't have helped. The $158 tickets were up to $174 and $180, and the ones normally $208 were up to $220+. I was looking at going again, but it was like...I might as well wait for a show at the normal pricing, let alone if they lower them.
There are just too many seats priced at the $200-ish level (blue seats). Nothing in the upper balcony should be that high, and it's unfortunate that the center of the lower balcony is still being sold for that much, given that it's literally the rear orchestra, directly behind the $68 seats in rows M and N.
