Any truth to this ?"
Same like London those two will not sell any tickets

I know who he is but have never listened to any of his music (I will tomorrow, though) so I didn't know what to expect. What he does is give one of the best Emcee performance I've seen so far in this production - Fra Fee still probably being my hands down favorite. But after about 15 or so actors now thatI've seen take on the role in Frecknall's "Cabaret", Peck brought this intensity to the role I don't think anyone else dared to do, yet. I realized the people who shine for me in this production do it completely in spite of Frecknall's direction. And I hope that makes sense to people who have seen it. The ending of his "If You Could See Her" was kind of jaw dropping and not a peep from the audience. You could hear a pin drop. It was great that he managed to hold the entire audience in the palm of his hand the entire 3 hours.
If you've seen the show before and contemplated going back, this is the time to do it. I'm already dream casting future roles for the man."
Cool! So, how is Eva as you only mention Orville - along with Leon Smith, Harvey and Skybell?

Is this true? I mean the show has been running for so long now and I haven't been paying too much attention but put it this way, look at the following calendar and guess which date they are leaving:
I think Billy's Performance in Cabaret is the most interesting vocal performance I've ever heard in this show (I love the flourishes and improvisations he scatters all throughout the score it's a very complicated performance). I think it does deserve to be in New York City personally - and Billy is a bit of a name in NYC is he not? Marisha isn't but she also sings the most powerful "Maybe This Time" I've ever heard too so like Nicole in Sunset I think the performance will speak for itself.

Both of these two could have opened the revival and had their own unique aesthetic. There is nothing 'replacementy' about them at all.

Absolute nonsense. Marisha and Billy have been the most successful pairing in terms of shifting tickets in quite a while. Producers actually tried to get them to extend.

That usually happens the last week or two of their performances and people rush to see someone

Is she just skipping all the matinees? She was out when I saw it yesterday, and I just read a comment on Instagram that she was out on Saturday too.
She hasn't done a Wednesday matinee in over a month.
"
That's not true. I saw the matinee on 4/16 and she was in.

I saw the evening show on Wednesday 4/9, she was in that night but out for that matinee. It seems to be a pattern.

Sorry for the seating question but they’re randomly having a Friday matinee when I’m in town next month and I won’t have time to hit up TKTS. I saw this suspiciously cheap seat, and seatplan day is its next to the sound booth and a good view. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts?

Is it a wheelchair/accessible seat?

It's likely a wheelchair companion seat.

Those $77 seats are the way to go! We sat in the aisle seats one row ahead, and they were unbelievably great. There was tons of legroom, clear sightlines, and there was a small shelf in front of you to set your program on. The one you are looking at is under the overhang of the balcony so I'm not sure how that would affect some views of entrances that happen up top, but the seats one row ahead aren't in the overhang.
In short...buy with confidence :)

I called the box office and asked and they said I could buy them. But when I clicked on it there was a big disclaimer about how they were meant for people who were disabled in some way and so I chose not to buy them. I’m not trying to take away a seat from someone who needs it. Still on the lookout for a seat that day that threads that quality/price thread. I wish I was getting there in time to hit up TKTS

I really want to see Orville based upon comments here, but Eva has never done it for me. I couldn’t finish a Cabaret performance with a mediocre Sally.

Not that you asked me, but I can definitely attest that Eva is not a mediocre Sally. She's fabulous in the role. I saw her roughly a week and a half into her run, so I trust that her performance is even more nuanced and specific now.
Eva is excellent but this production really shackles Sally as a character to directorial choices that greatly undermine the character, imo. I'd like to see any of the actors who are playing Sally do the title song without the oversized suit jacket, shouting, and physical gyrations.

100%. This production does Sally so dirty.
Not to open a can of worms, but Eva seems to be missing quite a few performances, no? Looks like she’s out again tonight…
edited to add: Just saw the additional comments above, calling out her absences. Eek…
Maybe she and Solea have a bet to see who can miss the most shows in a month.

Saw the show tonight. Gabi Campo was on for Sally. I had gotten my ticket through TodayTix rush and got an email mid-afternoon that Eva would be out. A little while later, I saw there was another email and became concerned, but it was just about transit suspensions due to the NJ Transit workers' strike.
I was seated in mezzanine 4 (what would traditionally be backstage), and because this seating area was smaller than the main one, I definitely noticed how heavily the show is played to the rest of the audience. I previously saw the show late last year (from the main, more populous side), and it looked like the performers were playing much more equitably to both sides, but from mezzanine 4, you are watching the backs of people's wigs as they hit big notes and start and end songs. Orville did a much better job playing to both sides of the theatre than some of the other performers, though I'm sure some of this is simply due to the choreography.
Ellen Harvey was incredible as Fraulein Schneider. I think I may have preferred her interpretation to Bebe's. Her "What Would You Do" is heartbreaking (despite the fact that I was staring at the back of her head for all of her big note), and her chemistry with Steven Skybell's Herr Schutz is really undeniable, making their ending all the more tragic. Steven Skybell remains charming as ever as Herr Schultz.
Orville's transformation and the anger in his voice as he barked Sally's introduction before "Cabaret" was jarring and very reminiscent of clips of speeches made by Hitler.
A weird moment came during "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" when the emcee raises his arm in the Nazi salute. A weird laugh came from the other side of the audience, and Orville turned his head quickly in that direction, but then it stopped. Other people definitely noticed, because I heard some "WTF?"-type remarks muttered around me. I feel like it may have been the same individual who felt the need to vocally respond to the emcee at the start of the show when he's rhetorically engaging with the audience. I was waiting to see if this person would also have an outburst after "If You Could See Her," but that number ended the appropriately silencing, horrifying way it should. Those who commented on Orville's delivery of that line are right; its delivery stuns the audience, and eventually, some minimal, uncomfortable applause started.
I have to go back to see Orville again ASAP. I’ve seen 27 shows since seeing him in this last month and still haven’t gotten him out of my head.

Lucky you to be retired and be able to see so many shows! Weren’t you just in London? Wow what a life! Lol
btw, friend said Eva out of the matinee today!

I wasn’t at your performance, but I’m about 90% sure you heard Orville himself let out a little giggle. It’s an acting choice he makes at the top of the hand salute on “Arise, arise” and it’s a chilling one, but I could see how you could mistake it for an audience member if you couldn’t actually see his face.
