TBH, I'm not sure if this is how it was played with the other Emcees in this production but it felt like Emcee isn’t a person or even a real tangible thing but an idea? The changing tides of Germany personified?
One more thing (and to push the next page to be visible) their flaccid attempt at being a "night club" is so try hard and cringe. You're not Berghain, you're not Basement. The stickers over the cameras is so cringe as if you're actually going to see any drug use or sex beyond that point and so out of pace with the vibes they're going for with the actual "Club."

That's…definitely a take.
I saw the show today (OMG, Orville and Eva are unreal!) and I appreciated that without being able to take pictures it removed people feeling the need to “get” a snap and prevent others from focusing on the show.. I’m all for it.
