As someone posted before, she's on vacation for 2 weeks.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
For those curious ones, the new Pamela Anderson documentary on Netflix includes extensive coverage of her tenure in CHICAGO - from her receiving the script, her extensive prep in Los Angeles then NYC, her being tech rehearsed on stage to performance clips. This section appears towards the end of the documentary.

Lana should be back on Monday.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Loved this doc already but this section was particularly moving, just to see Anderson clearly having a ball doing the show. The clips confirm what others have said that she made for a solid Roxie.

Isn't she rumored to be coming back?"
There was something said when she left that she was interested in returning. Maybe if she's available she'll return in the Fall?

According to an email from TodayTix, Erich Bergen is rejoining as Billy Flynn tomorrow for six weeks only. Wonder why James is exiting so quickly?
And yes, I’m aware that this show has a long history of short term replacements, but I figured he was in at least until the end of Jinkx/Lana/Charlotte’s run

Very odd indeed, especially since James was initially announced through March 12.

I’m sincerely wondering if it may be due to job performance. Let’s not forget these are jobs that people can be let go from. I only say this because the night I saw the show with Jinx, which was the second week of February he forgot his lines and was helped by the ensemble and Charlotte with prompts in the scene. Later, in act 2 he also flubbed lines. I found him to have a great voice, but his stature to me, didn’t read Billy Flynn the confident guy every girl wants.
It's a shame that has happened. James Lane is very talented.

Has James been in the show this week? He just did an interview yesterday about his journey back to Chicago.

Interesting. He seemed fine both nights I saw him. Granted, this is all based off a singular email from TodayTix that could've been sent in error. I'm not seeing anything on either the show's social media, nor James or Erich's. (James' still says he in the show through March 12th).
Granted, subtle swaps aren't beyond the pale. They didn't announce Amra-Faye's two week return when Lana went on her wedding/honeymoon end of January and...oooof

I just asked James on his Facebook page if he's leaving earlier than planned and his response was "nope".

I mean, it was just one performance and people have off days so I’m speculating. It was actually the second time I’ve seen a Billy Flynn go up on lines and the ensemble assisted him- I saw a Saturday matinee during Jason Daniely’s run and it happened, again, performers are human it happens. Unless it’s a chronic issue I can’t see it being a big deal. I also saw on Telecharge Lane does not have an end date but the others do (3/12). Again, I think he was in great voice as is the entire show- and I saw it Amra’s 2 week stint- I think she had a new costume this time and she’s a knockout. I’m a frequent Chicago flyer so initially I was disappointed to see her again, but she still got it! I saw Lana with Pam and that was really a special pairing.
All of the current leads are scheduled through March 12. Lana, Charlotte, Jinkx, James, Evan and R. Lowe. No word on any of their replacements.

Yeah, James was in the show last night (2/17) and I thought he was great. I haven’t seen the show since 2004 with Paige Davis and it’s really crackling now. Jinkx’s crowds are bringing so much energy to the whole production and really lifting the entire thing. I’d never see Charlotte before and, wow, talk about a role simply living in a performer’s body. The choreography comes out of her so effortlessly. I liked Lana’s vocals but I did wish some of her acting choices were a little looser.
Jinkx is clearly having a great time and she’s a ball to watch. Special shout-out to Brian O’Brien and Michael Scirrotto for their ensemble work and as Fred and The Jury, respectively.
I recently saw a picture of Max Von Essen and Jim Caruso (on IG) attending a performance of Chicago. It suddenly dawned on me that Max would be a wonderful Billy Flynn. The possiblity never crossed my mind. Just saying.
