I was soooo excited in trying to get tickets for this that I completely forgot I had tickets to see Cats that I bought in July for tonight. Yes, tickets had dropped on StubHub but were snatched up quick! Was considering to gift my Cats tickets and go another time. My department manager is going, so lucky! Look forward to reading the posts here and live vicariously through you all.

That was mind-boggling brilliant! I have tickets to see this in London in Novemeber and I really wish I didn't now.
Nothing short of a reunion (and not sure even that...) could compete with tonight. I hope and pray for a full on revival.

Completely agree. Cynthia went up on afiew lyrics but brought down the house twice (Summer in Ohio, I Can Do Better Tan That)
the he only flaw of the night was the two HUGE TelePrompTers One in front orchestra, one in back. It was like sitting behind a giant cell phone
but from a music standpoint, it was a fantastic night of theatre

Only IF the night remained otherwise as it was.
The number of people visibly crying (...but not me, cuz....cuz...I was balling) was staggering.
Cynthia of course had the audience roaring over "Better Than That" but my personal highlight was "Goodbye until tomorrow." I kinda forgot after awhile that Joshua was in the song :-p
I can't simply be so glib towards the amazing Joshua Henry. This was a lot more restrained Jamie than I had seen or heard before, but it was incredibly effective. So to was the rather soulful ending to "Nobody Needs to Know."
Just such an amazing night. I'm dazed still.

I don't quite have the words to convey how beautiful tonight was. Really incredible all around.
Also, they filmed the whole thing. I walked by three control room on the way out and two guys were watching the playback.
