I haven't done standing room but I did get a rush ticket. They originally had me in what they referred to as a "jump seat" in the last row. Then they moved me into a regular seat right before showtime.

Is this the standard practice going on for rush tickets? Can anyone report back?
What is the rush policy for this show? I can't find one on the website or anywhere else. Are they still doing a rush?
There do not seem to be any cheap options for tickets out there for this. Even standing room is $122 on the website. That is the largest amount I've ever seen for standing tickets...crazy!
EDIT: Nevermind, found the digital rush on todaytix. Still though, those $122 standing tickets are the highest Ive ever seen for standing room...

The SRO for this show isn't really "standing-room"; they are seats at the very back of the theater. I believe they are the "jump seats" that hearthemsing22 mentioned earlier. I don't understand why the BO marked them as SRO.
I was able to get a TodayTix rush ticket earlier in the run and originally was seated in the “jump seats” and they were so uncomfortable. Thankfully they moved everyone to empty seats right before curtain.
This show was extraordinary but it's not a commercial Broadway bound show in its current form. And considering that is how the film ends, they can't exactly change how tragic the entire story turns out to be.

I agree that it’s never going to be a big commercial success, but I can imagine it doing well enough to make sense in a subscription theater like 2ST, MTC, or Roundabout. In particular, I think it would fit in the Friedman beautifully. Mind you, this is just my wishful thinking wanting to see it again and is not based in any rumor let alone actual intel.

I was told Lyceum. I trust my friend (who’s given me a LOT of info I’ve posted first here) but for some reason that just seems weird to me. But stranger things have happened…

Of all the theaters that are/will be available this fall, isn't the Lyceum among the smaller ones, especially if the Shuberts are involved in the transfer? I imagine if this transfer is happening, Grey House would close on September 3 as some people have speculated. Edit: Jordan, you must have typed in your previous post as I was typing mine, lol.

I mean, there's only 6 theatres smaller than the Lyceum, and three of those are filled by nonprofits. 922 seats is appropriately small for a show where ticket sales would probably be equally bad in a 599-seat house vs a 1500-seat house.
As for THE HOURS, there's only 8 performances, occurring in May 2024. So Kelli could conceivably jump between both by missing about 2 cumulative weeks of DAYS performances, in the unlikely event that it's still running by then.
From my quick glancing all the theatres smaller than the Lyceum are booked for the fall. Unless something falls though, or closes unexpectedly, I guess the Lyceum is the smallest theatre available.

Kevin McCollum and Mark Cortale are the commercial producers behind it. Stone was probably there as a friend of Greif, the Atlantic, and others. Bart Sher, Scott Ellis, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Sara Bareilles also attended at various points. None of that means anything. Show folks like attending shows as much as the rest of us :)
