"People that excel in the arts understand that the journey is the reward...the result an added bonus. Every day I act or train is a blessing and a dream come true. If Broadway beckons so be it. I have a personal definition of success that is unshakable by a possibly unobtainable goal." -HamletWasBipolar

If we are really waiting for them GET INTO THEIR DAMN SEATS, I won't feel bad about the next time I'm at one of their shows and stand through part of the overture.

Stop the music!!!
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I wish that the streaming webcast would work for me. It always cuts out and messes up my internet. So glad I have XM!
I wish they'd start already.

Tell ya what. Everyone turn down the volume on your speakers until it starts. We don't need anyone getting headaches from the annoying music.

haha bbonstage! I was just thinking the same thing. My room mate's looking at me like I'm the biggest geek on the planet. :)
Call the understudy / I can't go on tonight / I'm drinking with my buddy / I'm getting good and tight / Before they raise the curtain I'll be higher than a kite / So call the understudy
I can't go on tonight

You've got to be kidding me. I don't care about anyone's dress. Just start the damn show!
Honestly, I'll be more willing to listen to Kristin belt out her high c's, and it always gets on my nerves when she does that.

John Von and Andy say that someone's talking on stage about thanking everyone involved with the Drama Desks.
Right now, they're just playing mini interviews with nominees of shows.
They're clapping in the audience. They're starting!

Just so everyone knows there are two measures of rest in between songs and it is in four four or possibly in two four which would mean four measures of rest.

If they're going to be make us wait this long, they should at least change the music once in awhile! Considering how annoying this jingle is, that's not asking for much!
"It's a goddamn beautiful day, shut up!"
