huh. Would be interesting, for sure
and... Peggy.
She'd be terrible. Sorry not sorry.
She's 47 years old. Who on Earth could she possibly play? George Washington?
Let's get Chita in there while we're at it..

Not that I"m suggesting it, but. Renee is 45
Renee was also admittedly too old for the role, but hey, it's theatre, and obviously she was otherwise perfect for it.
Daphne is a good actress and has a cool, distinctive voice. She's obviously past Schuyler sisters age but I hope she gets back in Broadway soon.

Honestly though..... I'd pay big money to see this.

Daphne Rubin-Vega (born November 18, 1969)
Renée Elise Goldsberry (born January 2, 1971)
Maybe she is too old. But seriously she is a better actress then you all think she is.
yes huge age difference !
But the reason I suggested it she obviously can play very difficult roles on Broadway. And is a very unique and gifted actress. I also think Hamilton is a show that plays well to different actress than stock Broadway Actress. She has also starred in two pulitzer prize winning shows and got two tony noms. I
wish to see her soon. But seriously where on earth is Lachanze when you need her?
(I know it will never happen)
wow Lachanze is 55! wow she looks amazing

But what did your other identities think about it?

I do not have one but just to play along.
MisterKatz says that he does not want big stars or idol winners to play these roles
MissSin says she does not want stock standard broadway stars to play these roles. Unless they are fit for the role
Mee says he wants stupid HSM alumni far far away from this
Ion : says she hopefully no big name singers too
Ima : says at least they are no where near as bad as "Chicago"'s producers
Goldsberry looks significantly younger than her age. Rubin Vega, not so much.

no bias here toward Daphne Rubin-Vega; but you all do realize you're arguing about her being cast or not cast due to her age... in "Hamilton." The show that has transcended all casting norms and made headlines for its inclusion. Whose creator has specified his interest in a woman playing one of the male leads. It shouldn't be treated like a gimmick.
