There's no rhyme or reason to how many tickets are released. I've seen pairs before, and certainly you can buy two singles. The bigger trick is just being able to find the tickets in time.
Yeah, it was strange. I was checking for about 2.5 hours and never managed to get anything today. Think they mustn't have had many being a Friday sale. I've got my eye on some on hubstub though. Anyone have experience using them?

Just 1 ticket for myself. Budget I wouldn't really want to go over $300 unless it was last resort. Ideally I'd rather be able to get something around $100-$250range tomorrow if the fates should be on my side."
Assuming you did NOT get a 4-day ticket today, are you planning on doing the Cancellation Line?
Sky, I know you wanted to stay in the lower range, but there is one premium orchestra seat available for Friday night. If you are willing to pay Stubhub fees, this might be a better option.

I've ended up buying one off of Stubhub tonight for a seat in the Mezz (thought it was the safer option since I'm quite small and usually conveniently end up behind tall people haha). Nervous about there being any issues but most on these boards have had good reviews by the looks of it. It was more than i'd hoped to spend but i'll make the money back alright. Thanks for your help :)

What ultimately was the outcome? Also, what determined your arrival time of 12:30AM?

We didn't get in. They only released five tickets, so only the first two line sitters (who got there at 6 pm the day before) and one guy who was the first to be there waiting for himself were able to get in. He only got in because the third and fourth line sitters' clients panicked and bought tickets from stubhub at the last minute. They didn't give out anything 'till 5 minutes before the show.
We decided 12:30 'cause we'd visited the line Saturday morning and the first person in that line had gotten there at 12:30, and also because my sister and I had some plans that evening. If I did it again I'd go earlier (and/or on a weekday), but also those first two line sitters got there at 6 pm the day before, and I never would have guessed that I'd need to do that based on the information I had, so it was probably a lost cause from the start.
I've been noticing the professional line sitters for couple of weeks now when I walk by. I believe they are limited to 2 tickets. Don't know how DEH is doing it, but Ham made the ticket sitters go inside the theater. They wouldn't let them sit and buy both for someone else. Ergo, they kind of dropped off.
Does anyone know if the box office tries to sell the tickets at full premium price before offering them at the last minute? I can only go by my experience at Ham. The box office would try to sell the full price tickets about an hour before the show and would only offer them at $200 15 minutes before the show.
CT2NY- I ordered my tickets on Friday evening for DEH and still have not received the e-tickets from Telecharge. Should I be worried that I haven't gotten them yet?

I'm surprised that you haven't gotten them. Just call customer service at 212-239-6210, they'll be able to help.
They have been sending tickets only a few days in advance to avoid forgery - apparently it has been a huge issue. I was at the theatre last night to pick up my tickets for Thursday, and they couldn't print them for me until today (Tuesday) the earliest!
I thought that the 3-day hold on e-tickets applied to future sales, as well, and not just to tickets purchased 4 days before. Looks like I was mistaken.
That must be a relatively new policy. I have ordered several DEH tickets (both 4 day rule and future sales), and the 3 day hold has always applied. For instance, the last tickets I ordered are for November 11. I ordered them on September 12, and they were emailed on September 15. I'd call customer service just to be on the safe side.

I ordered my ticket for tonight on Friday and got my e-ticket yesterday morn.
I ordered mine in Sep for a Nov 09 show and they still hadn't arrived last week - I wasn't too worried as they had indicated a delay in ticket delivery, but I emailed Telecharge just to check on them, and they sent them within the hour!
