Agreed on both counts, Coffee - dropping any news before a holiday weekend will get lost; and they very well might have been waiting to confirm a name or two (though I'm *thrilled* Guinan and Freeman are continuing - this play wrecked me Off-Broadway and i hope they're thoughtful with preview pricing in particular as word of mouth will be critical here.)

Got served an Instagram ad with dates. Previews begin October 17 and opening night is November 15.

So I’m guessing Downstate’s taking the booth and Small Mouth Sounds is going into the Barrymore, I guess that means the rumored 42nd Street revival is going into the Broadhurst?

Formal press release finally out, the cast will include Cassie Beck, K Todd Freeman, Francis Guinan, Adrian Martinez, Al'Jaleel McGhee, Thomas Sadoski, Ivy Wolk, and Liza Colon-Zayas.

Presale starts on Thursday, "starting at $150 each, at DownstateOnBroadway.com. A $150 starting price seems... very steep for this.

Boy, they are going all in on their ad campaign. Just got an Instagram add that is sure to turn off as many people as it'll bring in.

I don’t like this strategy at all, nor do I think it will be particularly effective. How many people would actually commit to a package deal type of situation. It just sounds silly in a commercial setting. Why doesn’t Rudin just start his own non profit?
