Shub, I have to admit it took my a few listens to get used to the arrangements, but I think I've grown to love it more than the original

Anthony,
Have you ever been considered for Jonathan in tick, tick...BOOM?
And Fredi, I am sad I missed you in the Lion King tour years ago. If I had know you were doing it I would have done better to get tickets.
Fredi, I just got a temp job. Did I mention that? Oy. :) Of course, I'm a craaazy typer.
Dressing sounded fun.

fredi and anthony... aren't you pleased you accepted the roles in rent way back when???... was that an easy choice for you to make at that time?
Thank goodness for Myspace. "2 Kudos" for it...I would had miss all the cute Open House DVD bulletins.
star2b, the only one I didn't like was Not The Doctor in the weird minor key.
Anyone wanna do a sing along? :)
How do you document real life
When real life is getting more
Like fiction each day?
Damn, this is moving really fast.
Just thought I'd chime in and say that this thread has kept me from doing work for 4 hours, and I'm loving every minute of it
I will be in NY for 10 days in April...of course it's the week BEFORE the 10th Anniversary show...the irony!

I think the number of posts we've made in the last 45 seconds has bumped Anthony out, lol.
Fredi, <3, did you see/like Moulin Rouge?
Open House sites...
http://www.OpenHouseMovie.com or if you have MySpace, go to http://www.myspace.com/openhousemovie
Lots of info on those... it's the first Real Estate Musical.(that's all I got... I haven't seen it yet, but my copy came into Borders on Monday)

I ordered Open House as well. It looks great. Fredi and Anthony, what books are you guys currently reading?
I liked Alanis's acoustic Jagged Little Pill, but for me it can't compare with the original. Gotta love mid-90s angry girl rock. :)
And yeah, so hard to keep up with this thread, but fun to try!

i always laugh when asked that...
i had two roles - same amount of weeks and $
took RENT because it was a shorter commute! LOL!
and Shubbie - it could be fun - depending on who you got to dress *wink-wink*
Moulin Rogue! Ah, how I love Baz Luhrman!
Gotta love insomnia, huh Em?
Shub-me too exactly! I mean my non-showtunes on my ipod are all those...ones you mentioned plus Hanson(yes, I'm not ashamed), Savage Garden, Wallflowers, Jewel, Mariah's "music box", No Doubt, Celine Dion, Gin Blossoms, Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray, TLC, Ace of Base, Sheryl Crow, Boyz II Men, etc.
it jumped a several pages within a few minutes...now imagine the rest of the OBC in this thread. I'm about to get a heart murmur!
Hopefully it's Cheyenne Jackson so I can take a crack at converting him to the other side of the fence.

Nice to see you're still naughty Fredi..

Albinokid is what we're now calling ourselves, and it sort of continues in the vein of Look Around, but is perhaps just a bit edgier, because we're all writing together now. I'll be doing lots more gigs coming up in the next couple of months. Unfortunately, they won't always be at all-ages venues, but keep your eyes and ears peeled. I've missed performing live and in person, so I'm very excited that I'm getting to do a lot of it again.
dmb -- I do like David Gray, and have for over a decade, long before White Ladder. A playwright friend of mine recommended him to me and I was immediately blown away. He worked his ass of for years and almost gave up before really hitting it big.
Munky and others -- Open House is a very very very silly movie. Just warning you.

books?
barely have time for them now...
all my sit-down time is doing research on the web and writing...
playing hooky tonight with you guys
I have never seen a thread get this popular and so many views so fast....wow.... aahhh i cant sleep....tomorrow the NFAA finalists get posted and I'm sooo nervous.
Sorry, jumping in 3 pages late (ah, it's so fast!), but Annmarie Milazzo wrecks me everytime I listen to Bright Lights, Big City.
Baz Luhrman is one of my favorite directors. His movies just completely appeal to my ADHD.
