Many offers have been sent out and many have declined due to the 8 performances a week requirement and the physical aspects of the role. Amy Sedaris was one of the first offered to replace Cole Escola and she declined for the reasons mentioned. Jane Krakowski has even said she had anxiety after her first performances when it hit her - she had to give it 100% 8 performances a week. She was bruised up her entire run.

They just extended until January 10, 2027, so they most certainly have people coming down the pike. It’s just going to be a question of who and when. I’m wondering if we might get a return from Betty or Jane at some point, especially since the latter sold like hotcakes and added 4 extra weeks to her initial run.

Personally, I would LOVE a Bridget Everett Mary and a Jeff Hiller Abe. I could imagine Rachel Dratch taking a crack at the role when Rocky Horror ends. What’s also great about this show is that not every role needs to be a star casting decision, so you can get one or two and pretty much be set. That in mind, I’d love for Hannah to get a more extended run if they can get big stars for Abe and Teacher

The CD for this show really takes the chemistry of the different actors he hires very seriously, which is how we get some great combinations.

As long as a "name" wants to jump into this show, it'll keep running. This could turn into one of the longest running plays ever on Broadway. Sean Hayes? Megan Hilty? Simard? Tina Faye? There's an endless list of SNL actors that could do the role justice.
