Has anyone rushed Girl from the North Country and have any information about where the seats are located? And what time people have been arriving? Thanks everyone!

Hi. Thank you for your keen observation. I live 6 miles away from the theatre district and have rushed as late at 7pm for an 8pm curtain. You don’t get to decide the timeline for rushing. The theatre does and they have happily obliged.

Simply being given a seat at the rush price is NOT "rushing" a show.

Bringing it back to the point of this board, I didn’t rush today so I don’t know where the seats were but today Saturday 2/8, the first person got there at 8:30am. There was about 5 people in line when I asked at 9:30am.

Any word about where the majority of these rush seats are and whether or not they're partial view?

I won the lottery and my seat was Row A in the balcony, all the way to the side. Definitely partial view, arguably horrible seats, even for $39 each. However, I loved the show. I'd love to see it with a more central view.

Sorry if this is a little off topic, but where can you enter the lottery for this show?

That is completely inaccurate as most tickets bought on the day of the show are not even bought at the box office. Simply because a show is struggling and is willing to sell additional seats at a low price way past the opening-line is definitely NOT "rushing a show".

You are obviously our in-house expert on rushing Chuckster, so maybe you can give guidance on "Is is rushing?" in these situations:

Are all people attending a Rush concert considered to be rushing? NO, they are Rush Fans.

If I get there at 7 a.m. but walk at a leisurely pace from the subway exit to the theater, am I still rushing? What if I stop to pick up a coffee at Starbucks on the way, still rushing? YES, but doing it poorly. YES, but doing it even more poorly.

If my first name or nickname is "Rush", am I still rushing regardless of what time I get there? NO, someone's name is immaterial.

What about two friends visiting from Moscow? Are they Russian the show even if they arrive at 12:30 p.m. If you can pre-define what the grammatically incorrect "Russian the show" means then I can respond.

Please let us know your thoughts on these situations."
